Manicure Monday: OPI in Mexico City Move-mint

For this post, it is a repeat of OPI in Mexico City Move-mint that I reviewed in May 2021.
This is OPI in Mexico City Move-mint. Since I did a thorough review of OPI in Next Stop...The Bikini Zone, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color. The website describes it as "soft understated green nail polish" and I disagree. I do not see green whatsoever. It's a more pastel, light blue.
Here's a closer look at the brush.
I applied Essie Strong Start Base Coat, two coats of OPI in Mexico City Move-mint, and topped all the nails with Orly In A Snap Quick-Dry Topcoat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the brush is wide enough to do three strokes and move onto the next nail. I like curve tips which makes it easier to paint around the cuticles and sides. This brush is not curve. It's flat and it wasn't easy for me to paint around the cuticles and sides. If you are more an experienced painter, then it's not an issue. I am just bad at painting. Secondly, I like the packaging. It's the original packaging or the most well known. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of glass. The top is also sturdy. I can feel a tight seal when I open and close the top. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. It's easy to throw in your purse and bag. It's also easy to hold with one hand. Third, the consistency is creamy and on the medium. It's not too thick that it's hard to work with. It's also not too thin that it runs while using. It's a good consistency and you can take your time with painting. It will not get clumpy with usage. I think the top coat I used made it more thicker. I need to thin the top coat. That's another story. With that said, it's easy to use. It goes on smoothly, and there are no streaking and bubbles. Fourth, the color is so pretty. For this reason, I keep reaching for it. It's a great spring and summer color. Pigmentation-wise it's up there. Two coats were good enough for my skin tone. Lastly, it started chipping on the third day. It's not one of those small chips on the tips. It's a gigantic chip on the tip. It's one of those people can notice when they look at your hands. I am glad I got this product. The color is so pretty and I have a tendency to forget what I think about the product. For this reason, I keep reaching for it and go now I remember why I don't like this particular color.
