Manicure Monday: OPI in Yoga-ta Get This Blue!

I don't remember when I purchased this nail polish from OPI but it has been years. I remember I went to a nail polish store with a friend and purchased a lot of polishes that day. I had to go through my old posts to see when I purchased it. It was beginning of 2009, and I have no clue why I never reviewed it.
This is OPI in Yoga-ta Get This Blue! Since I did a thorough review of OPI in Next Stop...The Bikini Zone, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color. The website describes it as "make this deep, dark blue nail polish your fashion mantra" and I have to agree with the color deep, dark blue.
Here's a closer look at the brush.
I applied OPI Nail Envy in OriginalMadam Glam Gelementary Gel-Like Base Coat, two coats of OPI in Yoga-ta Get This Blue!, and topped all the nails with Essie Good To Go Top Coat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the brush is wide enough to do three strokes and move onto the next nail. Not only that, it was easy to paint around the cuticles and sides. Secondly, I like the packaging. I have never disliked any nail polish packaging. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of thick glass. The top is also sturdy. You can feel a tight seal when you open and close. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. It's easy to throw in your purse, bag, and even your pocket. It's also easy to hold with one hand. Third, the consistency is creamy and I would say medium. It's not too thick that it's hard to work with. It's also not too thin that it runs. It's a good consistency and you can take time with painting. It will not get clumpy with usage. With that said, it's easy to use. It goes on smoothly, and there are not streaking and bubbles. Fourth, the color is a bright navy blue. It's a great fall and winter color. Would I say the color is unique? No, you can find it in other brands. Pigmentation-wise it's definitely pigmented. Two coats were good enough for my skin tone. To be honest, you can do one coat but I feel like it would chip quicker. Lastly, I saw shrinkage around the third day. As days went by, the shrinkage got bigger but not much. It was very minimal. Since it's on the darker color, you notice the shrinkage a lot better than a paler color. You don't need to get close to notice the shrinkage. Other than the shrinkage, there was no chipping whatsoever. I'm glad I got this polish. It's a nice, long lasting polish.

Would repurchase: Yes.
