Manicure Monday: OPI in Mod About You

I recently purchase an OPI nail polish from ULTA.
This is OPI in Mod About You. Since I did a thorough review of OPI in Next Stop...The Bikini Zone, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color. It is brighter on the nails than from the bottle.
Here's a closer look at the brush.
I applied OPI Nail Envy in OriginalMadam Glam Gelementary Gel-Like Base Coat, two coats of OPI in Mod About You, and topped all the nails with Essie Good To Go Top Coat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the brush is wide enough to do three strokes and move onto the next nail. Even though it has a straight tip, it was alright painting around the cuticles and sides. Secondly when it comes to packaging, this is the OG of polishes. It simple and professional looking. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of thick glass. The top is also sturdy. You can feel a tight seal when you open and close. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. It's easy to throw in your purse, bag, and even your pocket. It's also easy to hold with one hand. Third, the consistency is creamy and in-between medium to thick. It's not too thick that it's hard to work with. It's definitely not thin. It's an alright consistency. I found it a little thick for my taste but I also noticed with pastel colors, the consistencies are thicker. I did have to paint quicker than usual. It got clumpy with usage. When the consistency is slightly thicker and it gets clumpy with usage, I tend to paint faster. For this reason, it doesn't look good on the nails compared to taking my time with painting. With that said, it's easy to use. It's not the most smoothness texture but it's alright, and there are no streaking and bubbles. Fourth, the color was brighter and pastel than I expected. It's a great spring and summer color. Pigmentation-wise it was up there. Two coats were good enough for my skin. Lastly, there are no shrinkage whatsoever. I did see chipping on the tips on the third day. It wasn't one of those small chipping. It's was huge and it got bigger as days went on. I am glad I got this product but definitely not the best I have seen from OPI.

Would repurchase: Maybe.
