When San Francisco Collection 2013 came out from OPI, I fell in love with one Liquid Sand nail polish. I finally decided to try it out.
This is Alcatraz...Rocks. Since I did a thorough of Liquid Sand from the Mariah Carey's Collection, I will base it on that.
Here's a closer look at the polish.
Here's a closer look at the brush. I apologize at the quality of the picture. I thought I took a good picture. :/ I tend to love OPI brushes, because of the width and length. It's really easy to paint the nails.
I applied OPI Nail Envy in Original, Orly Calcium Shield Basecoat, and 2 coats of OPI in Alcatraz...Rocks.
Now for my overall opinion... First of all, it went on smoothly and there's no bubbles and streaking. There's a reason why I love Liquid Sands or any textured polishes. If you make a mistake, you can reapply on that area and it'll looked new. When you do that with normal polishes, you can notice the difference. For that reason after several days of wearing textured polishes, you can reapply at the area where the nails chipped and you can wear it more than a week. I, personally, like changing my polishes in weekly basis. Lastly, the polishes lasted four days before I noticed chipping at the tip of my nails.
Would repurchase: Yes.

It is a good picture of the brush. You meant it to be like that so we can see the color of the sparkles. =) Love the color too
The effect is so cool! And the color is sooo nice! It's been ages since my last manicure, reading your Manicure Monday posts make me want to do my nails again :D
You're so sweet! Seeing the positive of my very bad quality picture taking... hehe~ Thank you! :)
I would say 2 or 3 months! Well, not really, the last time was when I tested Revlon scented nail polishes, but it doesn't count xD
That still counts... hehe~ :) You definitely should go back to painting your nails. :)
This is one of my favorite OPI textures, it is so beautiful! It looks great on you, btw. :)
Thank you! It coming from you, it's a compliment. :)
