When I first saw the Moisture Stain from Revlon at my ULTA, I knew I had to grab one. From my experience, most stains tend to be darker than what is shown on the package. For that reason, I grabbed the lightest pink color.

Crackle Nail Polishes Comparison (OPI, Barry M., China Glaze), Nail Polishes, and Vivite

I already compared OPI nail polish in Black Shatter to Barry M. in Nail Effects. I was fortunate enough to receive two China Glaze Crackle Glaze polishes thanks to Trinh. She sent me two China Glaze Crackle polishes.
The first one from China Glaze is #981 Crushed Candy.
The other is in #979 Cracked Concrete.
I decided not to do the step by step process I did for OPI vs. Barry M. I didn't see a point. Plus they're already next to each other and you can compare through that. I used the same base nail polish so you can see the difference between the shatter/crackle nail polishes. Unfortunately, it's hard to see it from the China Glaze in Crushed Candy. Sorry about that! :(

In conclusion:
* OPI = It cracks less, the crack tends to be thin and long, and you see less under color base.
* Barry M. = It cracks the most, the crack seems to be a big squares/dots, and you see the most under color base.
* China Glaze = It's between OPI and Barry M.

Other than the shatter/crackle nail polishes, I thought I would show some of the nail polishes I hauled. For this post, it's Revlon that I received from My Fit Beauty.
This is #168 Temptress.
This is #229 Demure.
This is in #440 Siren.
This is in #675 All Fired Up.

Thank you Spankedelic and My Fit Beauty!!! :)

Have anyone heard of Vivite Products? I actually have never heard of this brand. I heard it's a popular brand that has been in magazines like InStyle and Glamour.
Here's some information I found:

"Innovative anti-aging technologies are the core of the Vivite skin care system. The line of Glycolic Acid, peptide, and antioxidant-based products are perfect for those with sun damaged and aging skin who want smoother, firmer, and brighter skin without causing skin sensitivity."

This sounds really promising for aging skin, as well as, younger people who are preventing the signs of aging. I would love to try this product to get rid of my sun damages, freckles and sun spots.

Disclaimer: The products mentioned in this post are bought with my own money except for Barry M, China Glaze, and Revlon. I received Barry M and China Glaze polishes as a gift, and Revlon from a giveaway. I am not affiliated with any company nor getting paid to advertise any products. Moxie Mineral Makeup and Nail Polish Haul

Last summer, I was fortunate to receive some samples of Moxie Mineral Makeup. Idelissa, she owns an Etsy store, sells mineral makeup from foundation to lipsticks.
She was kind enough to send some foundation samples. The reason why I took so long to post this review is because all the samples were too light for my summer, tan skin. I had to wait for winter to try these samples. That's why I'm reviewing them now! :)
Product Review: Moxie Mineral Makeup in Light Medium

Where can you purchase this: http://www.etsy.com/shop/Idelissa
Price: $3.50 for 3 samples of 1/2 tsp foundation each or $15 for 7 g

Description on the label: If you love Moxie Mineral Makeup, it will love you back! With FDA approved allantoin to heal skin and speed cell turn over, your skin will look better the more you use it.
Ingredients:
My thoughts: When I first received this, I was pretty excited. I have tried other mineral makeup in the past, and most have concentrated on my over size pores on my nose. It wasn't a pretty sight! The only company I found that actually look pretty decent and didn't over size my pores was Silk Naturals. For that reason, I love Silk Naturals. :) Even though I didn't have the greatest experience with mineral makeup, I was still hopeful!

The first thing I did when I received this, I swatched them on my arms.
By the way, this is was my summer skin. I'm about NC 35-37 during the summer. Now that it's winter, I'm back to NC 30. I know through pictures on my blog, I don't look that dark and a lot of people think I'm around NC 15-20. I'm telling you the flash from the camera lightens what you really are... lol~

From left to right: Light, Fair Light, Fair, Sunlit, and Light Medium

As you can tell, most of the foundations are light for my skin. That's why I waited until winter to try this product. Even Light Medium is a little too light for my winter skin, but it's actually pretty not bad at the moment.

After trying this foundation out, I was pretty impressed it didn't over size my nose pores! That's a huge plus for me. :) It looked very natural.
I have Cosline Princess BB Cream (will review this later on) with the mineral on top. Other than that, there's no contouring or blush. I'm all natural except for the eye makeup.

Pros:
* Mineral makeup; natural for the skin.
* FDA approved.
* Cost is decent.
* Doesn't over size pores.
* Looks natural.

Cons:
* Needs more choices for the foundation.

Would I repurchase:  Yes, I think it fits me well.
Rating:  4.5/5 Tobey's Paws

Thank you Idelissa from Moxie Mineral Makeup!!! :)

I'm going to end with recent nail polish haul.
Revlon in #826 Perplex. It's a dark purple but I think out in the sun, you might see duo-chrome. I'm not too sure on that since I haven't worn this yet. :X I heard it's a dupe of a Channel nail polish. That's kind of cool since I cannot afford Channel nail polish. :P
I bought this Sally Girl nail polish from Sally Beauty. Unfortunately, Sally Girl products run with number not names. This is in #812029. When I first saw this, it just reminded me of Sally Hansen nail polish in Hidden Treasure. I could be wrong since I missed out on that opportunity to get that nail polish which I'm sad about!!! :( Anyways, this nail polish is hot! By itself, it's not that great. You can see it on the left nail. On top of colored nail polish, it's hot! You can see the blue glitters which is shown on the right nail! Now I'm curious about the other glittered nail polish from this line. The best part is it's only $0. 94.

I bought two OPI nail polishes from the Katy Perry collection. I wanted the blue glitter one, but I heard you have to layer four coats for it to show. I didn't think it's worth it.
I got OPI in Not Like The Movies. It's a gorgeous duo-tone nail polish!!! I don't know if you call it duo-tone in my opinion, more like tri-tone... lol~ In certain angles you see metallic silver, pink, and green.
I got the popular OPI in Black Shatter.
Not only do I have OPI in Black Shatter, but I was blessed to receive Barry M. in #311 Nail Effects. I received this nail polish from my first blogger friend Spankedelic. I'm so amazed that we're still in touch through all these years. I have made a great friend! :)

Thank you Trinh!!! :)

I will review the differences between OPI in Black Shatter and Barry M. in Nail Effects in the future post.

Disclaimer: The products mentioned in this post are bought with my own money except for the mineral makeup samples, I received it to try out, and Barry M. nail polish, received it as a gift. CVS Clearance Haul and Blog Sale

A lot of bloggers have updated their blog on what they got from the CVS clearance sale. Of course, I was late on this too... lol~ By the time I went to the CVS, a lot of things were gone. I did end up getting two things and for real cheap... wheee~
I got two lipsticks, not that I need anymore, from Revlon and Rimmel. They were both 75% off plus I had a $2 off CVS coupon. What a steal!... wheee~ :)
The first lipstick I got is Revlon in #005 Mauve. In the picture, it looks lighter and pinker. :/ It's actually a little bit darker... hehe~
I compared the Mauve next to the other two lipsticks I own from the Colorburst line, Soft Nude and Peach. The left one is Soft Nude, the middle is Peach, and the right is Mauve.
Here's how Mauve looks on me. It's a little lighter in the picture than in person. :/ Nevertheless, it's still pretty... hehe~

The other lipstick I bought is Rimmel in #070 Airy Fairy. I've been wanting this lipstick for some time so it was nice that it was on clearance. :)
I compared this lipstick with the other Rimmel lipsticks I own too... hehe~ The left one is Airy Fairy, the middle is Pink Blush, and the right is Nostalgia.
Here's how the lipstick looks on me.

Since it's the beginning of the year, I went through my collection and grabbed some things that are not getting much love *sigh*. I'm just selling a small blog sell. I hope people buy them! :)

Revlon Lip Haul & Purse Hook

I bought several Revlon lip products from long time ago, but I never got around posting it... hehe~ My bad and think it's about time I post about it. :X I always say it's better late than never... hehe~ :D
When I saw several bloggers buy Revlon lipglosses in the Limited Edition (buy the way it's not limited at all), I needed to grab some of them since I heard great things about them! In my opinion, I don't think I need to review these since there's so many bloggers who have reviewed it. If you want me to review it, please comment and I will. :)
I bought two, one in #170 Coral Reef. For some odd reason, I could not get the true color of this lipgloss *sigh*. :/ It looks light pink in the picture, but it's more coralish-pink. It's a gorgeous color! :)
The other one I got in #160 Firecracker. This color isn't as popular as the Coral Reef and Lilac Pastelle, but I still dig the color... hehe~ It's on the reddish-orange color.
Both lipglosses come with a sponge tip rather than a brush.
Here is the swatch of the lipglosses; Coral Reef on the left and Firecracker on the right. I think both are true to color more on the Firecracker than Coral Reef. For some odd reason my camera can't seem to get Coral Reef. I'm sorry!!!

In the past, I avoided these Revlon lipglosses because it has SPF. If you're allergic to SPF products, it's probably in the benzone family. Thankfully, these don't carry phenobenzone or any of the benzone family. You will be okay with these! :)

I also bought another Revlon Colorburst lipstick. The first one I bought is in #70 Soft Nude.
This time I bought #75 Peach. I have been into coral/peachy colors... hehe~ I think you can tell. ;)
Here's a swatch of Peach. It's a gorgeous color and I'm in love with it... hehe~ :)

I'm going to end this post with my recent haul from Amazon... hehe~
I really wanted to get a purse hook for many months now. The only thing that was holding me back was not knowing what style purse hook I wanted, as well as, money. I forgot I had some gift certificate to Amazon so that helped a lot!... hehe~ ;)
The purse hooks that I see here aren't foldable, I mean the stores, so I kind of stayed away from it. I wanted a compact one where I can toss it in my purse and then take it out when I need to use it. I fell in love with this when I saw it on Amazon. It also comes with a black case you can put your foldable purse hook in. :)
I took a picture for the people who have no idea how to use this... hehe~ I know I didn't until my makeup buddy showed me!!! :D
