Manicure Monday: OPI Liquid Sand in Magazine Cover Mouse, Couture de Minnie Collection 2013

Since OPI Minnie Mouse Collection did so well last year, they decided to do another one (Couture de Minnie Collection). I'm not a big fan of pink and red nail polishes. I only wear them on my toes. For that reason, I had to pass this collection except for the Liquid Sand. Even though it's a red nail polish, I was curious.

Here's how the nail polish look with no sunlight.
Here's a closer look of the nail polish with bright light.
Here's a close-up of the brush.
Here's how the nail polish looks on my nails. It's 2 coats of nail polish with no top coat.

Now for my overall opinion... Since I did a thorough review of Liquid Sand from the Mariah Carey's Collection, I will base this by that. It's easy to apply and does not streak. The drying time isn't as fast as some Liquid Sands, but I wouldn't say it's the slowest either. If I had to choose, it's more on the slowest than fastest. Once it dries, you can see the texture and feel it. With each day, the feel diminishes and does not feel like sand. When it comes to looking at the nail polish, it looks sandy throughout the whole wear. Out of all the Liquid Sands, I found this one interesting. Since I work with a lot of papers (medical record) on daily basis at work, I would notice this red marks. At first I was confused until I realized it was coming from my nail polish. The nail polish lasted a good 4 days before it started chipping on me. For someone who doesn't love red, I actually like the color. It's a very shimmery red with a lot of red and goldish-white sparkles. I have to say this nail polish is more similar to the Bond Girls than the Mariah Carey's.

Would repurchase: Yes.
