Future Review for WayFair

WayFair is a website that has more than 200 online stores where you can buy anything from a handbag, a corner TV stand, pet item, to a cookware. I have worked with WayFair in the past and their delivery is amazing. The quickest delivery I got was within a day! I am thankful to work with them again to review products from their website. Here are some items from their website that stood out for me.
The puppy is so cute! He looks sad with those cute puppy eyes. If I put this on Tobey, I know for sure he will kill me... lol~ :X
I never was a huge fan of Hello Kitty growing up. I thought it was overrated. Now that I'm older, I just adore Hello Kitty! This is such a cute hair dryer!
I'm a huge fan of puzzles. I've always been and I think it's great for the brain. I think this would make a great piece to put together. Who doesn't love Noah's Ark!?!?
How gorgeous is the bed set! It's so simple, reminds me of spring, and it's blue (my favorite color).

I can go on, but it will be never ending since they have so much items! I will stop at that. I'm not too sure what  I'm going to get, but you will find out when I review it! :)

Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara

September of last year, I received a free Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara from Sephora inside JCPenny. I've been using this mascara for the past three months. I think it's about time I review it... hehe~
Product Review: Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara in Blackest Black

Where can you purchase this: Sephora
Price: $18 (I got mine for free)

Made in USA

Description on the back: Our amazing, antioxidant-rich mascara intensely volumizes lashes up to 300%. The vitamin-enriched formula deepens, darkens, and thickens from root to tip.

Our curvy, talented hourglass-shaped brush ensures every single lash is evenly coated with our silky, clump-free formula.
My thoughts: I wasn't too sure what to expect from this mascara... hehe~ The first thing I noticed is the interesting brush shape.
It's curvy being thin in the middle and fatter towards the end. I am not too sure why, but it doesn't hurt to try different shaped mascaras... hehe~ I thought it would bother me or feel weird trying this shaped mascara, but it wasn't either. It actually was pretty comfortable.

Other than the shape of the mascara and to be honest, I was worried since it doesn't say anywhere it's waterproof. Having Asian lashes, non-waterproof mascaras tend to weigh my lashes down. I was pretty impressed it didn't weigh my lashes down at all!... yippie~ It actually kept it pretty curly which is a big plus. It also darken and made my eyes look like I have more lashes than I do... yippie~
See how curly they are?
The makeup on both pictures are Too Faced Baked Eyeshadow in Amber Asteroid. They're taken at different days with different style of using the eyeshadows... hehe~

Since it's not waterproof, I was worried if it would smudge throughout the day. I was pretty impressed it didn't smudge much. It did smudge a little but barely noticeable... hehe~

*Bare Escentuals.
* Antioxidant.
* Curve shape which helps to coat every lashes.
* Clump-free.
* Holds up the curls.
* Doesn't weigh the lashes down.
* Darkens and thickens.
* Easy to clean since it's not waterproof.

* Not waterproof.
* Smudges a little.

Would I repurchase: Maybe, but it is kind of costly. I strongly believe in drugstore mascaras... hehe~

I recently received false eyelashes to review on my blog from KKCenterHK. Not only do they sell different brands of falsies, they sell other things from makeup to shoes. The company is located in Hong Kong, but the delivery time is pretty decent. I received my package in a week and a half... hehe~

Too Faced Baked Eyeshadow in Amber Asteroid

Disclaimer: The product mentioned in this post I bought with my money. I am not affiliated with the company nor getting paid to advertise the product. This post is written with my honest opinion.

Last week, I went to Nordstrom Rack and saw Too Faced Galaxy Glam Collection. I was so drawn to the marbleized eyeshadows. I wanted most of the colors, but the ones that spoke to me were the purple (Magenta Moon), green (Moon Beam), bronze (Mocha Meteor), and golden-brown (Amber Asteroid).

CVS Clearance Haul and Blog Sale

A lot of bloggers have updated their blog on what they got from the CVS clearance sale. Of course, I was late on this too... lol~ By the time I went to the CVS, a lot of things were gone. I did end up getting two things and for real cheap... wheee~
I got two lipsticks, not that I need anymore, from Revlon and Rimmel. They were both 75% off plus I had a $2 off CVS coupon. What a steal!... wheee~ :)
The first lipstick I got is Revlon in #005 Mauve. In the picture, it looks lighter and pinker. :/ It's actually a little bit darker... hehe~
I compared the Mauve next to the other two lipsticks I own from the Colorburst line, Soft Nude and Peach. The left one is Soft Nude, the middle is Peach, and the right is Mauve.
Here's how Mauve looks on me. It's a little lighter in the picture than in person. :/ Nevertheless, it's still pretty... hehe~

The other lipstick I bought is Rimmel in #070 Airy Fairy. I've been wanting this lipstick for some time so it was nice that it was on clearance. :)
I compared this lipstick with the other Rimmel lipsticks I own too... hehe~ The left one is Airy Fairy, the middle is Pink Blush, and the right is Nostalgia.
Here's how the lipstick looks on me.

Since it's the beginning of the year, I went through my collection and grabbed some things that are not getting much love *sigh*. I'm just selling a small blog sell. I hope people buy them! :)

MAC GreasePaint Stick in Below Ground and MAC SlimShine Lipstick in Bare

Disclaimer: The products mentioned in this post is bought with my money. I am not affiliated with the company nor getting paid to advertise the products. This post is written with my honest opinion.

End of last year (2010), I went to the outlet and checked out the CCO. I bought two things from MAC that I was pretty excited about. The first thing I'm going to talk about is MAC GreasePaint Stick. The particular color isn't sold at MAC stores or counter, but I think it's worth reviewing since they still sell GreasePaint Sticks.

Tokidoki Brushes and Hello Kitty Case

In December, Sephora gave Beauty Insiders either $15 or $20 for VIP members. If you're not a member of Beauty Insiders, I definitely recommend it. You also get a free birthday gift every year... hehe~ ;) Last year (2010), we got Sephora eye kit that includes a small eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. This year you get a Philosophy shower gel/bubble bath.

With the $15 discount, I bought Tokidoki brushes and 3 samples.
Let me tell you how adorable these brushes are!... hehe~ I'm a huge fan of tokidoki, as well as, anything cute like Hello Kitty! :D As soon as I received these, I took pictures and washed them... wheee~ I just couldn't wait to use them. :)
Product Review: Tokidoki Pittura Brush Set

Where can you purchase this: Sephora or sephora website
Price: $35

Made in China

Description from the website: Create the eye look of your dreams, with the help of your favorite Tokidoki characters. Each brush in this must-have set is adorned to represent one character, from top to handle, giving your makeup routine a dose of adorable personality.

Mozzarella eyeshadow brush
Adios Amigos crease brush
Donutella angled eyeliner brush
My thoughts: My initial reaction is how cute is the packaging! It has pictures of different characters on the outside.
To be honest, the packaging is so cute but what will I do with the packaging?... hehe~ I kind of wish they made it out of something other than plastic. What will I do with plastic? :/ If you have suggestions, PLEASE tell me... hehe~
Then I took out the brushes and OMG it is love!... hehe~
Look at the characters on the top of the brushes. I just love it!... hehe~ To be honest, I debated over these brushes because I'm not keen on characters or double-ended brushes. I put my brushes in a cup and having double-ended or characters make it difficult to put them in the cup. :/ I made an exception with these. I just couldn't resist... hehe~ :X
The brush hairs are cute too!... hehe~ The tip of the hair are the same colors as the theme of the brush.

After the initial reaction of all these cuteness, I washed them. I was pretty impressed how soft they were and no shedding!... wheee~ They're also very dense which is good for the eyeshadow and eyeliner brush. I'm not too sure about the crease brush. If you have monolids or small crease area, I think it's fine. If you have bigger crease like me, not too great. If I want to apply it to a small area on my crease after the main color, I think it's fine... hehe~ I'll still use the crease brush but not that often I guess you can say.

After using these brushes for couple of weeks, I'm still pretty impressed. Usually I can see one or two hair fall off but these haven't shed one hair yet!... yippie~

* It's so cute!
* The tip of the hair is colored.
* Comes in a cute packaging.
* The brushes are dense.
* It doesn't shed.
* The crease brush is good for small area.

* It has a head which makes it hard to put in a cup.
* Packaging is useless since it's plastic.
* The crease brush is good for small area.

Would I repurchase: Yes, but I hope not... hehe~
Rating:  4/5 Tobey's Paws

Speaking of cute things, I'm going to end with this Hello Kitty case.
You can use it for any electronics, but I'm using it for my cell phone... wheee~ :)
