Around October/November of last year, 2009, I bought three makeup wipes from Epielle (click here to see the other things I bought or received at the Korean Festival). It's not a popular brand but you will see this often in a lot of stores or at least I have... hehe~ I think I will review these since I'm on my third wipes. :)

Information on the back: Before I start, I don't have the package for the Green Tea one. I threw that one away but I believe it's the same one as the Aloe Vera.

Direction on the back: Gently wipe face, using both side of cloth to deep clean and refresh, leaving no residue. Best if used within 45 days, after opening. Keep package tightly close, and store in a cool, dry place when not in use. After use, dispose of cloth in a trash receptacle. (do not flush)

Ingredients: There's a slight difference between the Green Tea/Aloe Vera and Cucumber. I will post both. This one is Green Tea/Aloe Vera.

This is for Cucumber.

My thoughts: When I first used the Green Tea, I liked it but towards the end of using the wipes I wasn't happy. For some odd reason, towards the end the wipes were dried. It was tough on my skin and it tugged. That doesn't help my wrinkle faced... lol~ :P I was kind of skeptical when it came to using the other two I have left, Aloe Vera and Cucumber. I was wrong!... lol~ The Aloe Vera one didn't dried out towards the end. Either I didn't close the Green Tea one well or I just had a bad bunch. I would like to think it's the second... lol~ :X I also noticed the wipes of the Cucumber one is different from the other two. I'm not too sure why but the Cucumber is more softer. It's also more flexible. In all, I think they're good wipes. They remove the makeup well! :)

Pros:
* Cheap.

* Made from Korea (being biased here... lol~).

* Removes the makeup well.

* Easy to carry around.

* Cucumber has softer wipes.

* Cucumber one smells like cucumber.

Cons:
* Green Tea dried out towards the end.

* Some have strong scent.

Would I buy this again? Yes.

I will talk a little about the different wipes... hehe~

Green Tea:

* It felt nice in the beginning.

* Dried out towards the end.

* It had a scent but I wasn't too keen on it.

Aloe Vera:

* It felt nice to the skin.

* It didn't dry out.

* The scent wasn't strong.

Cucumber:

* The wipes are the softest of the bunch.

* The wipes are made different than the other bunch.

* The wipes are flexible/stretchable.

* Smells like cucumber.

* The scent can get strong at times.

I'm going to end with couple of nail polishes I got in the past few months.

This is Nicole by OPI in Fresh Squeezed! I've been into peachy/coral colors... hehe~ I think the color is hot and do I need more in this color. Nope!... lol~ :X I got this free through the Seventeen magazine. They had a special towards the end of May for a free Nicole by OPI nail polish at Ulta. I believe it's over. Sorry my bad I should have posted this earlier!!!

I received two Etude House nail polishes from a friend.

This one is in #PK006. It's a metallic, pastel pink color.

This one is in #PK008. It's a light pink with glitters.

Sesame Leaf Jeon

I have some recipes piled up, pictures, that I haven't posted. This is one of them. I hope you guys like it! :)

If you need some guidance with the ingredients, you can check my Korean Cooking 101. ;)

Ingredients:
1-2 lbs. ground beef
chopped onion
chopped garlic
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper
1 egg
sesame leafs
flour
egg
olive oil or any oil for cooking

Step 1:
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients; ground beef, chopped onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, and 1 egg.

Step 2:
Cut the stems off the sesame leaf and clean them. Grab a plate and layer it with flour. Now shake the wet sesame leaf to the point there's no water dripping. It doesn't matter if it's completely dry or a little bit wet. The flour will still stick on the leaf. ;) Coat both sides of the leaf with flour.
Grab one coated leaf and put the mixed beef you did in step 1 on it. Top it of with the other coated leaf. It should look like a leaf sandwich with beef in the middle.
Grab a bowl, crack an egg, and mix the egg. Now coat the leaf sandwich with egg on both sides.

Step 3:
Grab a frying pan, add olive oil or any oil for cooking. Put the leaf sandwich and fry both sides.
Now you can eat it with rice and kim-chi! :) You can eat it alone or with the soy sauce mixture. In the soy sauce mixture, add soy sauce. If the soy sauce is strong, you can dilute it with water. Then add chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and red pepper powder.


This past week, I got a surprised package in the mail! It was a belated birthday gift from Miracle from Miracles are all Around. You guys should check out her blog. She's honestly one of the nicest bloggers around! :)
Inside the package, it contained some goodies, something for my nieces, and a sweet letter.
This is what I received after I opened the package. She gave me so much goodies to play with!... wheee~
I got two masks from Etude House. I got one in lavender.
The other one is in lemon.
She also gave me more masks. This time they're from The Face Shop... wheee~ This one is in grape.

The last one is in kiwi. It's so funny how they wrote "DO NOT EAT"... hehe~ I could see that happening because it's packaged like yogurt. It looks delicious I mean the packaging!... hehe~ :X
She gave me stuff other than masks as well. I got a top coat from The Face Shop. She mentioned it's her favorite. I can't wait to try it! Plus it's in blue (my favorite color)... wheee~ :)
I also got a blue, glittery nail polish from Etude House. I should do swatches for my Etude House nail polishes I have. This is my fifth one!... wheee~
She knows blue is my favorite color and sent a blue eyeshadow from Etude House. Isn't the print in the middle so cute!?!?
The last cosmetic I received is a lipgloss from Majolica Majorca in PK133. The color is so pretty, glittery, and sparkly. I couldn't wait to try it out so I wore it the next day... hehe~
She even sent me food!... yummy~ I was going to share the mango fruit thing (not too sure what it's called) with my father, but I ate both... lol~ :X
That wasn't enough she even included these Hello Kitty candies for my nieces! How thoughtful is she to even think of them!!! Honestly, not a lot of people will do that. I'm sure my nieces would love them when they come down next month. :)

I honestly feel like this surprised happen at a good time. I'm going through some hardship right now. This package cheered me up, as well as, made me almost cried (I didn't want tears to ruin my makeup). Man, why am I an emotional mess... lol~ I'm crying as I type this. :P

Etude House Black Head Bond Patch and Samples I Received

End of last year, I was given a chance to try out Etude House Black Head Bond Patch. Of course I took the opportunity since Digital Angel was willing to give me one to try out. No, I didn't recently try this out... lol~ :P I have a pile of stuff to post but I'm taking my time. :X
The packaging looks like the typical nose pore strips by any company, but it is different!
The strip is black!!!

How to use: Following facial cleansing regiment, use finger to apply and evenly distribute pack until nose is completely covered. Allow pack to dry for 10-15 minutes before removal. Do not touch while drying.

My thoughts: I actually thought it was pretty cool that the strip was black, because its more noticeable then a white strip. I'll tell you one thing either my nose pores are nasty or that black strip is fancy... lol~ (I'm a dork it rhymes!) :X

Pros:
* Its more noticeable on the black strip than the white.
* It sticks on your nose well and doesn't fall off.
* It dries, but not to the point it hurts.
* It takes out the nastiness of your nose pores.

Cons:
* Its hard find some of these around you unless you have a store that sells Etude House.

Would I buy this again? Yes!

This past week I've gotten samples from two companies... woo hoo~ I love getting samples to find out which products work for me and what doesn't! :)
The first one I signed up on M Lab (www.mlabonline.com) and they gave you good amount of samples... whee~
The second which you have to pay for the shipping ($4.99) isn't bad for three small tubes of Yu-Be creams (www.yu-be.com). The reason why I want to try this out is because I heard your eyelashes grow. I already took pictures of my before and I will tell you the results in two weeks of trying this product. I hope it works because I want long, full eyelashes!
