In June 2018, ULTA had a 20% off sale. I decided to purchase some products.
Here are the products I got. I already reviewed MAC Matte Lipstick in Baby's All Right (middle right) and Dose of Colors Block Party Eyeshadow in Lock & Key (bottom right). For this post, I will review the top coat from Essie on the top middle.

Thoughts: During the time of purchase, I needed a good top coat. I read good reviews on ULTA website. For this reason, I decided to purchase.
Here's a closer look at the top coat.
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to my favorite OPI brush, it's thinner and shorter. The width is on the thin side.
Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the brush isn't something I would grab. It's on the thin side. I like wider brushes to be quicker with each nails. Because of the consistency, it's better to have a thinner brush. For this reason, it's doable. With that said, it's easy to paint around the cuticles and sides. Secondly, I like the packaging. I have never disliked any nail polish packaging. I think they all work. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of thick glass. The top is also sturdy. I can feel a tight seal when I open and close the top. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. It's easy to throw in your purse, bag, and even your pocket. It's also easy to hold with one hand. Third, the consistency is creamy and on the medium. It's not too thick that it's hard to brush on the nails. It's also not too thin that it runs everywhere. It's a good consistency. With that said, it's easy to use. I just grab the product and I do not wipe the brush in the inside of the packaging. I just apply the amount I grab onto the nails. Since it's creamy and on the liquidity side, it just glides on top of the nails. I've only been using it for a month or two. I think but I'm not 100% sure. I can see the consistency get thicker with usage. Once you reach half-way, it will most likely be thick. If it does get thick, a thinner will make it brand new again. For this reason, it's not a big deal for me. The top coat leaves a nice, smooth, shiny coat. It makes it look like a gel polish. Also, it's a fast drying top coat. I would say it dries within couple of minutes. Since it's fast drying, it's a good idea to apply it quickly and not go over the part you painted. If you do go over the area you painted, it can get streaky. Lastly, the polishes chip and shrink on a normal average. I've been using top coats for years and from my experience, most polishes last a good five days. This doesn't disappoint. It lasts the same amount. I haven't noticed longevity with this topcoat but that's not what I'm looking for. Since I change my polishes in weekly basis, average is good. I look for a top coat that dries quickly. I just hate waiting for it to dry. I feel unproductive just sitting there and not doing anything. For this particular reason, I look for fast drying top coat. This did not disappoint, and it left the polish looking smooth and shiny. I'm glad I purchased this product!
