My friend gifted me body butters from The Body Shop for my birthday and Christmas in 2008.
Here are the body butters. I received all the body butters except the bottom one, I bought that myself. I already reviewed The Body Shop Body Butter in Cranberry (third from the top), and The Body Shop Body Butter in Pink Grapefruit (second from the top). For this post, I will review the bottom one.
This is The Body Shop Body Butter in Pomegranate. I could not find it on the website. I believe it's discontinued. I also know they came out with a new formula. Since I did a thorough review of The Body Shop Body Butter in Cranberry, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look inside the packaging.
Here's a swatch of the body butter on my hand.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, it has a strong scent while using. It has a mixture of scents. You can tell the body butter has gotten older in years, as well as, a pomegranate scent that isn't fresh. I just sniffed the product and it smells how it's applied. The reason why it smells like this is because this product is old. I know most people would not use it and throw it away. I'm so cheap that I prefer to use all my products unless it's extremely bad. I didn't think it smelled, as well as, felt that bad. The reason why it took me so long to use this product is because I forgot about it. I have a tendency to clean my vanity and only keep the ones that is getting loved. The ones who haven't gotten love gets thrown in the closest. With that said, over the years the closest would get more and more crowded. I decided this year to paint my room, as well as, clean my closest. I was shocked to find the amount of products I had in my closest. I threw the things that needed to be tossed and kept the ones that I thought I could still use. One of the products I kept was this body butter. Secondly, I like the packaging. It's simple and clean looking. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of thick plastic. The top is also sturdy. You can feel a tight seal when you open and close. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. It's easy to throw in your purse and bag. It's also easy to hold with one hand. Third, the consistency is slight creamy and on the medium. The reason why I say slight creamy is that the top layer is a little more stickier. Once I passed the top layer, it got creamy like a typical body butter from The Body Shop. I did find the top layer hard to work with but that's because of the age of the body butter. With that said, it's easy to use. I massage the body butter right after showering. Usually the body butter melts into the skin but because of age, this didn't. Once I passed the top layer, it was easier to work with. Even though it didn't completely melt into the skin, it still hydrated the skin. My skin felt softer, smoother, and calmer. Lastly, my skin felt hydrated the next morning. Actually, it felt hydrated in-between showers. I only apply after coming out of the shower until the next time. If my skin feels dry in-between showers, then it's not for me. I am glad I got this product. I definitely know it would had been a good product if I used it right away!

Would repurchase: Maybe.
