The Body Shop Body Butter and Body Scrub in Passion Fruit

Disclaimer: The products mentioned in this post is given to me as gift except one of the body butter and body scrub. I am not affiliated with the company nor getting paid to advertise the products. This post is written with my honest opinion.

Last year, my friend gave me body butters from The Body Shop for my birthday and Christmas. She told once you use the body butter, you won't go back to anything else. For that reason, I tried to use my other body lotions before moving on.

Product Review: The Body Shop Body Butter

Where can you purchase this: The Body Shop or online at thebodyshop-usa.com
Price:
$10 for the mini-size and $20 for the regular size

My thoughts: My friend gifted me all the body butter except for the bottom one. I bought that myself.
Here's how the inside looks like. I apologize. I should had taken a picture before using the product.

Now for my overall opinion... I love it!!! It feels like butter on your skin. As you apply the lotion, it just melts into your skin. It's very nourishing during the winter season, as well as, for someone with normally dry skin. I tried Victoria's Secret, as well as, Bath & Body Works at the store and they don't compare to The Body Shop. In my opinion, they don't melt into your skin as The Body Shop. They also come in different fruity flavors that smells delicious!

Pros:
* It melts in your skin.
* Very nourishing.
* Good for all skin type even sensitive skin.
* Smells good.
* Comes in different flavors.
* Made from natural ingredients.

Cons:
* It's not cheap, but at the same time, it's not extremely expensive.

Would I buy this again? Yes!

Now I want to review the body scrub from The Body Shop. In one of my posts, I posted my haul from The Body Shop and it included the scrub. Couple of readers asked me about the scrub, but I couldn't respond without thoroughly using it. Now that I have used it for more than a month, I will review it.

My thoughts: I wish I could have said I loved it as much as the body butter, but I didn't unfortunately. It's a good quality scrub and did its purpose, but there were certain things I didn't like. The one I bought had black seeds that didn't dissolved. After I used the scrub, I would have all these black seeds on my body. It comes off your body with no problem but I noticed these black seeds were on the floor and wall of the shower. Maybe I'm just a messy person when it comes to the body scrub, but seeing it all over made me feel dirty. Okay, I might just be strange.

Pros:
* It softens your skin.
* Good exfoliating product.
* Removes dead skin.
* The smell isn't strong.
* Smells good.
* Made from natural ingredients.

Cons:
* It's not cheap, but at the same time, it's not extremely expensive.
* Black seeds everywhere.

Would I buy this again? I don't think so unless the other body scrubs have no black seeds.

I'm going to end this post with my recent crochet project. I made Kerochan from Card Captor Sakura that I got from Craftster Forum. I modified it to fit to my taste so it's not 100% that pattern.

Frontal view:

Back view:
For the wings, there were no pattern. I made it as I went.

I LOVE body butters! I think it's time I stop buy lotions and just stock up on body butters. I was thinking of trying a Korres one but I think I'll check out The Body Shop first, since it's a bit cheaper!
