Please don't forget to enter Crest Whitestrips Giveaway. It ends August 7, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. PST (Pacific time).

End of February 2017, I was fortunate to attend The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Event. At the end of the event, The Body Shop gave us a goody bag full of their newest products.

Here are the products I received. I already reviewed The Body Shop Body Butter in Almond Milk & Honey (bottom right), The Body Shop Shower Cream in Almond Milk & Honey (middle), and The Body Shop Body Lotion in Almond Milk & Honey (top right). For this post, I will review the soap in the bottom middle.

Thoughts: When it comes to soaps, I only use it in the shower to wash my hands. For this reason, it took awhile to use this product. Even though it took awhile, it still makes a difference. Some soaps are drier than others.
Here's a closer look at the bar.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's a slight scent while using. Now that I'm almost done with the bar, I don't notice the scent anymore. I just got used to the scent. I just sniffed the product and the scent is so light that I cannot distinguish the smell. Secondly, the packaging is nice. I noticed soaps come either in a simple box or packaged in a plastic bag like this one. The design on the plastic bag is simple and clean. The packaged bag is thin but at the same time thick. It's thick in the sense I cannot see it open or rip. Once you open the packaged bag, you can use it depending on how you opened it. For myself, I don't use the bag anymore. Even though I don't use the bag anymore, it's still travel-friendly. I put the soap in a container while I travel. You can also put it in a plastic freezer/ sandwich bag. It all depends on the individual. Third, the consistency is like a soap. It's thick, velvety soft, and feels like a bar. The reason why I mention this is because I have used soap that feels more like a gel. This isn't the case. Plus, I prefer soap over gel-like bars. With that said, it's easy to use. I just wet the soap with water and it creates a nice, thin layer. It doesn't take much work to create a lather. It also feels good in-between the fingers. Lastly, I'm so close to finishing this product. I probably have one or two more usage. I never really thought there were any differences between soaps until now. I'm actually using a gel-like bar and I realized it's not my type of soap. It doesn't lather that quickly and doesn't feel smooth in-between my fingers. I came to appreciate regular, cream-ish white soaps like this one from The Body Shop. It's easy to use, feels good in-between the fingers, lathers quickly, and best of all it's not drying at all. I wash my hands so often throughout the day, I have to moisturize every single time. I never felt that way with this bar. Once I get out of the shower, moisturizing my hand is the last thing I think about. Not only that, it's gentle on the skin. For this reason, it'll be great on sensitive individuals. I'm glad I got to use this product. It's a good one from The Body Shop!
