In November 2017, I went to The Makeup Show LA 2017 and purchased some products.

Here are the products I got. I already reviewed Make Up For Ever Lustrous Shadow Palette (bottom right) and The Body Shop Spa Of The World Velvet Moisture Body Cream in Japanese Camellia Cream (top left). For this post, I will review the eye makeup remover from The Body Shop on the top left.

Thoughts: I received this with the purchase of The Body Shop Spa Of The World Velvet Moisture Body Cream in Japanese Camellia Cream at The Makeup Show LA 2017.
Here's a closer look at the opening.
Here's a swatch of the product on my hand.
I applied gel eyeliner on my hand, and wiped in the middle once with the eye makeup remover.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's no noticeable scent while using. I just sniffed the product and there's no scent whatsoever. Secondly, the packaging is simple and clean. I like the blue writing on the design. It's my favorite color. I received a deluxe sample. I don't own the full-size so I cannot say much. I will talk about the deluxe sample. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of thick plastic. The top is also sturdy. I can feel a tight seal, as well as, it makes a clicking noise when I open and close. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. It's small enough to throw in your purse and bag. It's also small enough to hold with one hand. Third, the consistency is liquidity. It feels like water instead of eye makeup remover. I also don't think there's oil in the product. It's hard to say since it's not see through. I do shake the bottle before using. I think it's more of a habit than anything. Most of my past eye makeup removers have a mixture of liquid and oil. Since I cannot see inside the packaging, I just shake it just to be safe. From what I can tell, I hardly doubt there is oil in the mixture. With that said, it's easy to use. I pour the remover onto a cotton pad and soak to a point I'm content. Then I apply the cotton pad on one eye and wait a minute. It softens the eye makeup which makes it easy to wipe off. Then I do the same for the other eye. It easily removes and isn't harsh on the eyes. I see everything from eyeshadow to eyeliner on the cotton pad. Since I use gel eyeliner, it's harder to remove. I haven't had that problem with this particular eye makeup remover. I cannot say about waterproof mascara since I haven't used one in a long time, but it does remove normal mascara. After removing, the skin doesn't feel dry or greasy. It honestly feels like I removed with water and all the eye makeup came off. I was pretty impressed! Lastly, it's recommended for sensitive skin. I cannot say since my skin isn't that sensitive. I'm glad I got this product. It works really well! I have always heard to remove eye makeup you need one that has a mixture with oil. I don't think that's true. This is proof!
