In November 2017, I went to The Makeup Show LA 2017 and purchased some products.

Here are the products I got. I already reviewed Make Up For Ever Lustrous Shadow Palette (bottom right). For this post, I will review the body cream from The Body Shop on the top left.

Thoughts: When I saw this at The Makeup Show LA, I was intrigued. It's one of their newest products or at least that's what I was told. I tested all the different scents and thought this was the best for me. It's my type of scent. Also, I noticed the textures of the body creams were different. This had the thickest consistency.
Here's a closer look inside the tub.
Here's a swatch of the body cream on my hand.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's a slight scent while applying. It's so light I hardly notice it anymore. I noticed the scent in the beginning. After awhile you get used to the scent and that is the case with this product. I read the reviews on their website, and not everyone has the same opinion as me. Some people have mentioned the scent is overwhelming but that isn't the case for me. I just sniffed the product and it smells like sweet flower. Secondly, the packaging is nice. It's kind of bulky, in the sense, it's big. When I initially got it, I couldn't hold it with one hand. I ended up dropping it. This is one of the case you need to carry with both of your hands until you get half way through with the product. Then you can carry it with one hand. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of thick plastic. The bottom is made of shiny material, whereas, the top is matte. Even though the textures are different, they both have finger marks from the leftover lotion from the hands. The top is also sturdy. I can feel a tight seal when I open and close the top. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. Since it's not small, it can be kind of hard to carry in daily basis. It'll be fine for long trips. Third, the consistency is on the thicker side for a whipped cream. When I first started using this product, the top layer was so compacted it was hard to dig my fingers into it. It felt and looked like clay. Once I passed the top layer, it was much easier. I'm not too sure why the top layer was thicker than the rest of the product. I didn't think I would like this product initially but after the top layer, I loved it. It's easy to use. I just grab and apply onto the skin. I massage onto the skin until it melts. It's melts quickly. It feels like their well known body butter except it's whipped. To be honest, I cannot tell the difference while applying. Once it's melted into the skin, it feels soft and hydrated. This product is great for dry skin individuals. For normal to oily skin individuals, it might be too much. Not only that, I used this product during this past dry winter weather. It did not dry me up whatsoever. Lastly, I'm so glad I got this product. It's a great product once you pass the top layer!

* Slight scent while applying.
* Smells like sweet flower.
