Thoughts: I was excited to try this product and I did while using other Belief samples I received. I love trying skin care products from the same brand to see if they work well together. Once I finished my moisturizer, I moved onto another brand. That's when I stopped using this essence to use serum from the moisturizer brand. Now that I am using a moisturizer from this brand, I am back to using the essence.
Here's a closer look at the pump.
Here's a swatch of the essence on my hand.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's no noticeable scent while using. I just sniffed the product and it has a slight scent. It smells like all Belif products. It has that refreshing mint scent. Secondly, I don't own the full-size. I only have deluxe samples. From the website, it looks like a bigger version of the deluxe sample. I will only be talking about the deluxe sample. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of thick plastic. The lid is sturdy as well. I can feel a tight seal, as well as, a clicking noise when I open and close the lid. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. It's easy to throw in your purse and bag. It's also easy to hold with one hand. You have full control of the quantity you pump. Third, the consistency is in-between liquidity to gel-like. It's not completely gel- like but you can see a bounce in the product. It's not liquidity that it runs off the skin. It's a good consistency and on the medium. With that said, it's easy to use. After cleansing and toner, I apply the essence. I squirt some product on the palm of my clean hand and then pat the palms together. Then I finish by patting the face and neck. It's refreshing. It has a cooling sensation not in the tingling sense but it's slightly cool to the touch. It leaves a slightly sticky texture. Once it gets absorbed, the stickiness disappears. It takes about several minutes. It's light-weight, not greasy, and extremely comfortable. The essence hydrates the skin to prep for moisturization. Since the skin is hydrated, you use less moisturizer. Lastly, it's hard to judge an essence by itself. It's always used intertwine with other skin care products. For this reason, it's hard to say if it worked or not. I'm glad I got to try this product. It's easy to use and made me use less moisturizer.
