Thoughts: When I first saw the swatches on Born Pretty, I fell in love with the polishes. They're gorgeous and who doesn't like duo-chrome polishes!
Here's a closer look at the polish and it's very true to color!
Here's a closer look at the brush. OPI brushes is my perfect, medium brush. Compared to OPI, the length is shorter and the width is wider. I love the width of the brush but I'm not use to the length.
I applied OPI Nail Envy in Original, Orly Calcium Shield Basecoat, 2 coats of Born Pretty in #217, and then topped it off with Butter London Hardwear P.D. Quick Topcoat.
Here's another picture of the polish on my nails. I wanted to show how it looks in a different angle. You can see the blue and purple duo-chrome from the top two pictures.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I feel foolish. I didn't realize I needed a black base until I wrote this post. Even though I didn't use a black base, you can see the duo-chrome or at least I could. I definitely need to test out the black base. It'll probably not be for awhile though. Secondly, I like that the brush is wide. It picks up a lot of polish which helps knowing the length of the brush is short. Lastly, it lasted 5 days before chipping. It wasn't one of those big chunks of polish at the tips. It was slightly decreasing.

Pros:
* Comes in a variety of duo-chrome colors.
* Wide brush.
* Duo-chrome even without black base.
* Lasted 5 days before slight chipping at the tip.

Cons:
* Hard to find in stores.
* Short length.

Would repurchase: Yes!
Rating:  4.5/5 Tobey's Paws
