The PR from Born Pretty Store approached me to review a product from their site. Of course, I could not resist! They have so many wonderful products from nail polishes, Hello Kitty, to cosmetics. You should also check out their FaceBook page. They always have giveaways. I got couple of free stuff which I will review in future posts. They gave me an opportunity to choose from their nail art collection, and a stamper kit.

My thoughts: Before I review the product, let me tell you my experience with stamper and templates. Either last year or the year before, I actually bought Konad. It came with a stamper, scraper, 2 templates, and 3 nail polishes. For the life of me, I was extremely frustrated!!! I could not work that thing, and put it to the side until now. If you're wondering why I got this kit when I could not work Konad is a great question. :X I love seeing pictures of different nail arts online. I would envy those gorgeous nail arts and wished I knew how to work the Konad. :/ Since I had an opportunity to try anything, I wanted to try this. If this fails, then I know it was not meant to be.

It came with a stamper, scraper, and 2 templates. The two templates are
m48
and m49.  It is extremely easy to put nail polishes on top of the templates. Don't forget to remove the film before you put the nail polishes like I did. :X You can use any nail polishes as long as their thick like OPI, China Glaze, Essie, and so on. As soon as you put the nail polish on the design you like, you use the scraper to remove the excess. This is where I had issues.
Here's a picture of one of the scraping job I did. No matter how much I scrapped or redid the job, it would not come out clean. I was not too sure why until I took out my Konad scrapper. With the Konad scrapper, it actually worked and came out clean
I looked at my scrapper for this kit and realized it's not straight. I'm not too sure why. Either all the scrappers are like this or I just got a bad one. I would like to think it's the second.
After you scrap the nail polish on the design, you roll the stamper. For some odd reason, the stamper for this kit grabs the design much better than Konad! I had to file the Konad stamper to get it to grab some design. Even with filing, I still had some difficulties. Maybe that's why I was so frustrated with Konad. :X
With this kit, it was pretty easy. Then you put the stamper on the finger nail that you prefer.
Here's my nail art using the French Stamp Template DIY Kit. It's actually better looking in person. For the last week we haven't gotten much sun. For that reason, it was difficult to get a nice picture. I still think it came out nice!!! :)

Pros:
* Cute designs.
* Stamper is easy to use.
* Can use any thick nail polishes.
* You can have more than 12 different nail arts by mixing.

Cons:
* Blade on the scrapper was not straight.
* It can get messy.

Would I repurchase: Yes!

Great design! Your nails look really stylish :O i actually bought this set from BPS on my last order and I haven't used it but now I think I will ;D I think your scraper was a bad one .. The one I received was straight but the only issue I have is that it does scratch the plate.. I'd recommend you use and old stiff card (aka credit card) as a scraper, works MUCH better and doesn't scratch the plate at all ^____^

I like the french tip designs on this stamp template! I have so much trouble getting the imprint onto the stamp and onto my nails cleanly. I bought a bunch of stamping plates a few years ago but gave up on them all. Maybe I'll give it a try again. Yours came out really nice!
