Born Pretty Store is well known for nail products. Given the opportunity, I choose a purple nail polish. For some odd reason, I have really been into purple polishes. This is rare since I hardly wear pink, except on my toes, and purple.

Thoughts: When I had the opportunity to choose anything to review, I wanted a purple nail polish since I really have been craving purple polishes. I don't know how many I need but I've been craving for more. Yes, I have issues. :X I fell in love the color from the website. Only issue was I was not too keen on the packaging.
I was opening impressed with the packaging. It's pretty cute in person. Trust me it looks better in person! :)
Not only is the packaging adorable, I have never seen an expiration date on a nail polish bottle until now.
Here's a close of the color and it's true to it. It's more a periwinkle than a purple.
Here's a picture of the brush. It's a medium width brush. I would compare it the same width of an OPI nail polish.

Going back to the color of the nail polish... I was expecting purple, but it's more a periwinkle. I love the color since periwinkle is one of my favorite colors.
The first thing that came to mind was my China Glaze nail polish in Secret Peri-Wink-Le. They look different compared next to each other.
When swatch, they're very similar. The left is China Glaze in Secret Peri-Wink-Le and the right one is Sweet Color in #010. China Glaze in more on the blue, where as, Sweet Color in on the purple. I love both, but I have to say Sweet Color is unique. Most periwinkle colors have blue than purple.

Now for my nail of the week...
This is two coat of nail polish with white polka dots on the ring finger.

Overall opinion... While applying the nail polish, it had a strong scent. It's an unique scent. I don't think I have ever smell anything like this. It's very chemical-like, but it goes away after the nail polish dries. It applies very smoothly and there's no streaking. I love how it applies, as well as, the consistency. It's not thick nor thin. It's on the medium thickness. I would say slight thicker than an OPI nail polish but not by much. It lasted a good four days before chipping. It's not one of those nail polishes that chip at the bottom. It's one of those that get a bubble at the end and a big chunk of nail polish comes off.

Pros:
* Cute packaging.
* Unique periwinkle color; more purple than blue.
* Expiration on the bottle.
* Medium thick brush; easy to apply and use.
* Medium consistency; applies smoothly.
* No streaking.

Cons:
* Hard to find in stores.
* Cannot test out or see swatch before ordering.
* Strong scent, but goes away after it dries.
* Chips in 4 days, but in big chunks.

Would repurchase: Maybe, but this is a unique color.
Rating:  4/5 Tobey's Paws
