Thoughts: One thing bad about being a blogger is that I'm always intrigued by new products that come out. This product is no exception! I was drawn to the stand, as well as, curious about the product. I knew I had to at least try one for myself.
The color of the packaging reminds me of other Revlon lip products like the Lip Butters and Kissable Balm Stains. Basically, they try to match the packaging to the color of the lip product. It also reminds me of Wet 'n Wild Lipsticks except the whole packaging isn't black.

No matter how much I want to pull off medium to dark colors, I wanted to be safe and bought a light colored one.
I got #020 in Front Row.
Here's a close up of the lip color. I hope you can see it! It's a light peachy-pink color. The color is pretty and great for spring to summer color.
Here's a swatch of the lip product. It's a little sheerer than expected, but you can apply a heavier coat.
Here's how the lipstick looks on me. Now for my opinion...

I don't know where to start. I guess I'll start with the packaging. I actually like the packaging! It reminds me of Wet 'n Wild Lipsticks except it doesn't look cheap. :X The top isn't loose, as well as, the plastic feels sturdy. I also like that they fit with the Revlon theme, the lip color matching the packaging. It's nice knowing which color lip product you are choosing from your stack of lip products. You don't have to look for the name of the lip product. You already know which one you're looking for! I know this sounds foolish but I also like the clicking noise as you twist the product. Some people might find it annoying and I can see why, but I like how unique that is.

The product smells like vanilla to me. I'm not a fan of vanilla, but you don't notice it while applying. I only noticed it when I took a good sniff of the lip product.

Now for the product itself...

It's on the sheer side. Not completely sheer, but average pigmentation. Of course, you can build color with each application. If I knew that, I would have chosen a darker color especially with this fall/winter weather. I wish I grabbed a berry color.

The lip product is on the shiny side, as well as, the swatch and initial application. As time goes on, it dries down to semi-matte to matte depending on your lip texture. If you have dry lips like myself, it dries to matte and shows all the beautiful lines I have on my lips. Again it depends on the person, but the lines started showing within thirty minutes to an hour. I tried it without pre-moisturizing, lip balm, and moisturizing. They both showed up within thirty to an hour. If you can tell, I was disappointed since the stand said "Instantly Moisturizing." It definitely did not moisturize my lips!

I'm not too sure where the "suede" part comes from since I have not seen any commercial for this product yet. I would think it's the application and I do have to agree on the word "suede". The product applies smoothly like butter. It does feel like you're applying Revlon Lip Butters.

The stand also said it lasts up to 16 hours. If a product ever exist that last that long, it's a miracle! I would say it lasted at least 5 hours which is good by itself. I also noticed stain on cups while drinking.

Pros:
* Revlon; brand I trust.
* Sturdy packaging.
* Packaging matching the lip color.
* Clicking noise as you twist.
* Not a strong scent.
* Smooth application like suede.
* Lasts a long time, 5 hours.

Cons:
* On the sheer side, average pigmentation.
* Does not moisturize.
* Dry out your lips.
* Show fine lines from your lips.

Would repurchase: No.
Rating:  2.5/5 Tobey's Paws

Other Revlon products reviewed/swatch:
Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

This is NOTW I did some time ago. I think a month or two ago.
I applied two coats of Orly nail polish in Frisky.
On my ring finger, I apply one coat of L.A. Girl nail polish in Nostalgic on top of the Orly.
Then I finished the ring finger with Wet 'n Wild in Mermaid Curves.

Aww the lipstick looks really pretty. Thanks for such a helpful review! Too bad about the sheer color and dry finish/lip lines though.

And yay, Orly "Frisky!" I love that color, especially how you added glitter on top!

Thanks! The trip was great. :D While we did have a layover in Hong Kong, our vacay was in Koh Samui (Thailand). I wrote a post on it but all we did was eat, hit the beach, and get massages...lol.
