Please don't forget to enter L.A. Girl Gel Extreme Shine Giveaway. It ends January 5, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. PST (Pacific time).

In November 2019, I purchased some products from Sephora.
Here's my haul. I already reviewed Patrick Ta Monochrome Moment Silky Lip Creme in She's Independent (bottom right) and Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Supercharged Lipstick Set (top right). For this post, I will review one of the mask from the kit from Sephora on the left.
It came with eight different types of mask. I already reviewed Sephora Face Mask in Lychee (bottom first). For this post, I will review the hand mask top fourth.
Product Review: Sephora Hand Mask in Aloe Vera

Where to purchase: Sephora and online at sephora.com
Price: $5

Made for Korea

Description from the website: Inspired by Asian beauty rituals, the Sephora Collection hand masks provide an effective solution to meet every need. The single pair of non-drip, coated gloves will take care of your hands as you continue what you're doing. Each offers a skin-enhancing benefit.
Ingredients:
Thoughts: During fall/winter season, my hands become sensitive. My hands are colder than most people. It's so cold that when I wash my hands with warm water, the skin starts ripping like snow touching warm water. I have to constantly moisturize and that doesn't completely help. I thought why not try this product. If it helps, I might have found a miracle worker.
Here's a closer look at the gloves.
Each gloves tell you which hand it belongs too.
Here's how the gloves look on.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's a noticeable scent while using. It's strong at first but as time goes on, you get used to the smell. It's very floral. It reminds me of soap for some odd reason. I just sniffed the product and it smells how it's used. I don't know where aloe vera comes from because it smells nothing like that. Secondly, the packaging is nice. It doesn't fully attract me but it isn't bad. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of foil-like packaging. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. It's easy to throw in your purse and bag. The dimension of the gloves are nice. It should fit all hand shapes from teenagers to adults including males. The design outside the gloves matches the design of the packaging. Again, it doesn't fully attract me but it is decent. The tab to tie around the wrist is a genius idea. I have done another hand mask before and I don't think it had a tab. Unfortunately, only one worked. The other one didn't stick onto the outside of the gloves. I found it uncomfortable, in the sense, of fear that the glove would come off the hand. Third, there are a lot of essence inside the gloves. When you put your hands inside, it's very cooling and sticky. It can be uncomfortable when you first use it. After several minutes, you get used to the feel. With that said, it's easy to use. After washing your hands, you put the hands inside the gloves. You pull film off the tab and tie the tab around your wrist. Then you mask for 15 minutes. After you take off the gloves, I would pat each hands together until the essence is absorbed into the skin. It gets absorbed quickly. I recommend doing this right before sleeping. All the essence that was on your hands don't get washed off and it works its magic overnight. When I initially put the gloves on, it kind of stung. If you have cuts, I would pass. Since my skin is sensitive during fall/winter season, I have a lot of cuts from having cold hands. I felt the sting on the cuts but it passed after a few minutes. Other than that, it is comfortable and not greasy at all. Once you remove the gloves, the hands feel soft and hydrated. Lastly, the next morning the hands still feels nice and moisturized. I'm glad I got this product. Even though I like the product and the concept, I feel like the results are the same as moisturizing your hands with lotion throughout the day.
