When I saw the New Orleans Collection from OPI, I was drawn to one color.

This is Got Myself in a Jam-balaya. Since I did a thorough review of OPI in Next Stop... The Bikini Zone, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color and it's brighter on the nails.
Here's a closer look at the brush. This is my favorite, perfect brush. I love the length and the width.
I applied OPI Nail Envy in Original, Seche Crystal Clear Base Coat, 3 coats of OPI in Got Myself in Jam-balaya, and then topped it off with CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I'm a huge fan of the brush. I love how wide they are. Several strokes and I'm done with the nail. I love that it doesn't take much effort to paint the nails. Secondly, the consistency is on the medium. I did have to apply three, thin coats to get the color I wanted. I could have painted two, thick coats but it's all good. It went on smoothly, and there was no streaking and bubbles. Third and initially, I wasn't too keen of the color. I felt like I got another pink polish. To tell you the story, I painted at night. The next morning when I saw it in the light, I saw the peachy side of the color which is what I wanted. I read online they compared the color to Essie Tart Deco. I've always wanted Essie Tart Deco but the reason that hold me back is the brush. I'm not a big fan of their thin brushes. So when I saw this polish and they compared to Essie Tart Deco, I knew I had to get it. It took me overnight but I was happy with the color! I love it and think it's perfect for Spring/Summer season. Lastly, it lasted five days before I noticed slight chipping at the sides of the tips. It wasn't that noticeable and it looked good for the entire week.

Would repurchase: Yes.
