Thoughts: When I first saw this online, I thought it was one of those gel polishes that you don't need UV light. I was wrong and I feel foolish that I cannot read! Before I got more into this polish, I had a friend try it instead of myself. This review will be based on what she said.
Here's a closer look at the color and brush. I cannot remember the width of the brush. I believe it was medium width but not 100% sure.
She applied two coats of Born Pretty One-Step UV Gel Polish in #6054.
Here's another look of the polish at a different angle.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I did not try this polish. I have extremely weak nails and for that reason, I try to avoid UV light. I just think it's not healthy but I could be wrong. Since I got this polish, I wanted to review it. I decided to ask my friend/co-worker who only does gel polishes. I thought she would be the best fit from experiences. She was kind enough to say yes. With that said, I did try it before realizing it's a gel polish. I realized it was a gel polish after it wouldn't dry on my nails. While applying, I noticed a strong scent. I'm not too sure what it smells like but I wasn't a fan. Also, I'm not too sure if all gel polishes have a distinct scent. Secondly, the packaging is small and simple. When I first received the polish, I was shocked how small it was. It reminded me the size of stamping polishes. Also, the polish comes in a white packaging. I'm guessing since it's a gel polish, it's to protect it from light but I could be wrong. I have never own or even pay attention to gel polishes. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. The top also had a tight seal. I cannot remember if I felt the seal or not, but I knew it wouldn't open unless I opened it. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. Since it's so small, it's easy to throw in your purse, bag, and even your pocket. Third, the consistency is on the liquidity side. I'm not too sure if that's how gel polishes are supposed to be. I remember trying it the first time I got it. I would apply onto my nails and saw it fall to the sides. Then I waited for it to dry being the dumb person I am. That's how I learned it was a gel polish. From what my friend told me, it was easy to apply. You didn't need base and top coat. She applied one coat and put under the UV light. Then repeat again for the next coat. It's that easy. Fourth, the color is very sparkly. It'll make a great winter color, as well as, an accent color. Pigmentation-wise she said it was up there. It's not the most pigmented but two layers were good enough. Lastly, she told me it lasted the whole time she wore it. It was hard to remove. The manicurist had to sand it down. She told me she was impressed with the polish!

Pros:
* Gel polish.
* Small, simple packaging.
* Well-made and sturdy.
* Top has tight seal.
* Travel-friendly.
* Easy to apply.

* Sparkly.

Would repurchase: Yes.
