Manicure Monday: Ciate in Hopscotch

This is a repeat of Ciate in Hopscotch that I reviewed in July 2016.
Here's a closer look at the packaging. I cannot find it on the website. It's either sold out or discontinued. I think it's the second but I could be wrong. Since I did a thorough review of Ciate in Plastic Fantastic, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color. It is slightly brighter on the nails than from the bottle.
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to OPI, the width and the length is the same.
I applied Essie Strong Start Base Coat, two coats of Ciate in Hopscotch, and topped all the nails with Orly In A Snap Quick-Dry Topcoat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the brush is wide enough to do three strokes and move onto the next nail. Not only that, it has my favorite type of brush a curve tip. I find curve tips easy to paint around the cuticles and sides. This is a perfect example. It was easy for me at least. Secondly, the packaging is oh so cute. I love the cute ribbon. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of glass. The top is also sturdy. I can feel a tight seal when I open and close. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. It's easy to throw in your purse, bag, and even your pocket. It's also easy to hold with one hand. Third, the consistency is creamy and on the medium. It's not too thick that it's hard to paint. It's also not too thin that it runs while using. It's a good consistency and you can take your time with painting. It will not get clumpy with usage. With that said, it's easy to use. It went on smoothly, and there are no streaking and bubbles. Fourth, it's a pretty orangey-red color. It's a great summer to fall color. Would I say the color is unique? No, I have seen it in other brands. It's just not a common color a lot of people wear. Pigmentation-wise it's up there. Two coats were good enough for my skin tone. Lastly, I did not see shrinkage whatsoever. I did see chipping on the sides of the tips on the fourth day. Even though I saw slight chipping on the tips, it wasn't that noticeable. I only noticed for review purposes. I am glad I got this product. I ended up getting compliments.

Would repurchase: Yes.
