Lately, TJMaxx has been putting really good sheet masks. I bought a lot end of last year, 2019, and this was one of the visit.
Here's my purchase. For this post, I will review the mask on the left from Dr.Jart+.
This is Dr.Jart+ Dermask Intra Jet Firming Solution. Since I did a thorough review of Dr.Jart+ Dermask Water Jet Vital Hydra Solution, I will base this on that.
Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ceratonia Siliqua Gum, Chondrus Crispus Powder, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil,Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Phenyl Trimethicone, Allantoin, Butylene Glycol, Beta-Glucan, Agar, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Adenosine, Disodium EDTA, Cupressus Sempervirens Leaf/Nut/Stem Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Ubiquinone, Glyceryl Polymethacrylate, Propylene Glycol, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide.
Here's a closer look at the individual packaging.
Here's a closer look at the sheet mask.
Here's how the mask looks on me.
Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's a slight scent while using. It's so light that I cannot distinguish the smell. I just sniffed the product and it has a floral smell. Secondly, the packaging is nice for both the box and individual. It's simple, clean, and professional looking. With that said, the individual packaging is well-made and sturdy. It's made out of aluminum-like packaging. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. The dimension of the mask is doable. I like the width and the area of the forehead. It's wider than my face which is a plus for me. I have wide face and if it fits my face, it should fit most people. The length around the chin, on the other hand, is smaller than my face. It's not by much but I can see the difference. The nose and eyes are cut decent. It fits my wide nose. I just wished it wasn't cut horizontally straight. We all have tips and it doesn't cover that part. It fits my eyes perfectly and nothing more to say other than that. If you are looking for one sheet, this isn't it. It comes in two parts. One part is nose up and the other part is below the nose down. Having two pieces has its positive and negative. The positive is it will fit a lot more face shapes than one piece, and you can use as you want. The negative is the bottom part doesn't have that much weight compared to having one piece. There are times I feel like the bottom part is slipping down, but it isn't. Since there are two pieces, there are a lot of backings. You will find four backings for this sheet mask. Two for the top and two for the bottom. Each backings cover the front and back of the sheet mask. It's a waste of papers but you don't have to worry about ripping. With that said, the thickness of the mask is on the medium. I also found this interesting. The outside of the mask feels and look like plastic, whereas, the inside of the mask looks and feel like a gel. Third, there's a lot of essence. I used the leftover essence on my neck and chest after masking. Even though there's enough essence in the packaging, the sheet mask was not dripping. To be honest, the mask itself did not feel like it had enough essence. Even though it wasn't wet, it definitely did not dry out my skin. When my skin absorbs the essence from the mask, it feels like glue when pulling it off my skin. It did not do that. With that said, it's easy to use. I applied the gel-like side on my skin and masked for thirty minutes. The direction said to mask for 20-40 minutes. Once you take the mask off, the skin glows and looks hydrated. The fine and thick lines diminished, and the skin looks good. Lastly, I noticed some of the lines showed up the next morning. It's not as bad as before masking, but masking is a process. It does not improve overnight. For one time usage, it's pretty decent. I'm glad I got this mask. I definitely like the result better than Water Jet Vital Hydra Solution.
Would repurchase: Yes.
