February Favorites

MustaeV Face Architect Powder in Silhouette: I received this product some time ago. I need to review it soon because I'm at a point I'm about to hit pan. I'm not too sure why I never reviewed this product. I actually know. I want to review something and then something else comes up. That's a life of a blogger or at least maybe just me. Anyways, this is a great bronzer for light to light-medium skin like myself. It's natural looking and you don't have to buff the product to match the skin. It just blends easily and doesn't take much effort to contour your face.

Zoya in Daul: I received this product. It's more of a gift than anything. It's one of those product that took me some time to try, and fell in love. It's a beautiful, unique color. I have never seen this color from other brands. Not only that, it lasts a decent amount. I think it could be a little better but for the color, it's just worth it.

derma e Advanced Peptides & Collagen Eye Cream: I received this product and I'm almost to the end. It's one of those products that grew with you. I like it in the beginning but I think I ended up loving it towards the end. It's easy to use and I noticed it hydrates my eye area. I definitely need hydration around my eyes to prevent aging.

NIVEA Lip Butter in Raspberry Rose Kiss: I bought this product. When it comes to to lip balms, I tend to take forever to finish. I would use a product and than move onto another. Then I come back to the same product. I've done this multiple times with this product. Each time I come back, I realize how much I love it. If you have really and I mean really dry lips, this is a good one. It's gentle on the lips and one of the best hydrating lip products out in the market. It's makes my lip soft and get rid of dry, chapped lip within a day.

bareMinerals BlemishRescue Skin-Clearing Spot Concealer in Light/Medium: I received this product. It took me awhile to test it and I'm not too sure why. I ended up loving it. It's easy to use, covers most of the acne, and long-lasting. I was pretty impressed even though the color was not an exact match. I just soften it with my finger by patting it onto the skin. If you look closely, you could tell it didn't match my skin. When you look far away, it looked natural.

Finished Products
Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover: I bought this deluxe sample. It's a good eye makeup remover. It removed all the products on the eyes and did not leave a greasy texture. Not only that, it's good for sensitive eyes. Even though I like this product, most likely I will not repurchase. I feel like micellar cleansing water is just so good. I rather use that than this product especially since I can use it for the entire face.

Would repurchase: No.

derma e Sugar Lip Scrub: I received this product when I attended derma e Spring Soiree. It's natural and made at the event. It's a mixture of sugar and oils. When I first used this product, I thought the sugar was way too big. It's nobody's fault but mine. They had different sizes sugar and I thought I needed the most exfoliating sugar. I found it hard to scrub the lips, as well as, it was rough on the skin since the sugar wouldn't melt. Also noticed with natural products, you need to finish it quickly. Since I only used a little at a time, the oil ended up smelling bad. For this reason, I'm tossing it out and you can see half the product was still there.

Would repurchase: Maybe, I will try to make another in the future.

derma e Advanced Peptides & Collagen Moisturizer: I received this product. It's one of those products that I re-use again and again. When it comes derma e, my favorite products from when I first started using the brand to now is the moisturizer. It's easy to use, hydrating, and best of all I love the idea of putting something natural on the skin. Also, my skin loves the moisturizers.

Would repurchase: Yes.

Becca First Light Priming Filter Instant Complexion Refresh: I received this product. When I first used this product, I really liked it a lot. I noticed a glow on my face after I put on the makeup. Towards the end of the product, it didn't look the same. I didn't notice the glow anymore. When it comes to primers, my goal is to cover my imperfections. Whatever products layer on top of the primer, I wanted my skin to look smooth. I noticed it didn't cover the large pores on my nose.

Would repurchase: No.

doucce Maxlash Volumizer Mascara: I received this product. It's a good mascara if you want natural looking lashes with slight color. If you are blessed with gorgeous, thick lashes, this one will be a great one for you. It'll make the gorgeous lashes look a little bit fuller. Unfortunately, I'm not blessed and I need both volume and length.

Would repurchase: No.
