Skin Food Gingko Green BB Cream
I've been using Skin Food Gingko Green BB cream since the beginning of this year, 2010. I think it's about time I review this product... hehe~
Information on the back: This product is formulated with Gingko and green tea extracts, which are full of beauty enhancing ingredients like lecithin and Vitamin B to moisturize and nourish the skin. This is a multi function skin care product for both skin correction and skin protection.
My thoughts: Before I start, BB stands for blemish balm or base. You would think it's for people with acne problems but anyone can use it even I with dry skin. If you're looking for a foundation/BB cream that isn't on the medium to thick side, then this isn't for you. ;)
Cons:
* Only two shades available.
* Hard to find in the US unless you buy online.
Product Review: Skin Food Gingko Green BB Cream in Shade #2
Where can you purchase this: Korean beauty store, Skin Food store, Korea, or online

Most people think BB creams started in Korea, but in some ways it did and some ways it didn't... hehe~ Korea are the first people who thought of this idea, but it was actually made in Germany. My sister-in-law used one made from Germany and hot dang it's pretty expensive! It cost more than $100 and it looks like a cream moisturizer. For some odd reason, a lot of the less expensive ones come in tubes like the one I'm reviewing... hehe~
Now that you know a little history of BB creams, now to my review... hehe~ :D I spread this around my face with my fingers (make sure it's clean), therefore, it's actually better that it comes in a tube than a bottle. I'm not a professional when it comes to BB creams, but I do love the thick consistency. It covers my freckles better than most foundations... lol~ :X I am very happy with BB creams except for one thing. I noticed a lot of BB creams come in only two shades. I don't know why when there are so many different skin tones. :/ I know in Korea being pale is looked upon but still... hehe~ I got the darker shade, #2, and it still looks paler than my NC35 (that's what I am at the moment). Since I love my BB creams so much, I darken it up with a darker powder afterwards. That might be an option for those people who love BB creams and it doesn't come in your shade... hehe~ ;)
Pros:
* Medium to thick consistency.
* It hides some of the flaws.
* Comes in a tube.
* For all skin types.
* Don't need a brush.
* A little goes a long ways.
* The scent isn't overbearing.

Would I buy this again? Yes and No. I might try other brands to compare in the future.

4/5 Tobey's Paws
Here's a swatch on my hand.
It looks like it'll fit my skin tone, but that was my winter skin. During this summer weather, I'm much darker... hehe~
Here's how the BB cream looks on me. I darken it up with a dark powder to match my skin.
I haven't bought jewelries in a long time, but I couldn't resist with these. I told myself it's okay it can be my birthday gifts... hehe~
This is such a gorgeous necklace. The picture doesn't do it justice!!! It's a heart-shaped crystal with a blue-shaped rose inside. The rose shaped is hard to see here, but it's nice in person I promise... hehe~ I love this necklace because it's blue, my favorite color, and I love blue rose. I think blue rose are so unique and beautiful... hehe~
I also bought this dangling bracelet. I love dangling bracelets even though they're out of style now... hehe~ :X I love the simplicity of the colors, as well as, the silver leaves. :)

I don't remember when I bought this *sigh*. I decided to pick this out from my zip-lock bag full of non-used mascaras. Yes, I have that many mascaras that can last me over two years!!! I've been good about not buying mascaras, even though, I want to try the new ones that are out. I must resist! I have too many as it is. Anyways, it's been more than two months of using this. I think it's about time I review this.

The Ylang Gallery Masks
Happy belated Mother's Day!!! I hope you celebrated with your mother. :) I had a great weekend! It was hectic but good... hehe~ I got to see all my nieces and nephew together. We celebrated my nephew's first birthday (dol) this past Saturday. He's growing up so fast!
Anyways, now to the topic of beauty... hehe~ I bought five sheet masks from this brand; three of one kind (click here to see my review) and two of the other kind which I will review in this post... hehe~ If you want to see my overall haul, you can check out this post (click here). ;)
Information on the front: Moisture Essence Mask Sheet
My thoughts: In all honesty, I haven't had any problems with sheet masks. They all moisturized, as well as, plump my face. I wake up in the morning and my face texture feels great. It's more the question of the smell, does it sting, and how easily accessible they are... lol~ I liked these as much as the other masks from The Ylang Gallery... hehe~
Cons:
* Never heard of this brand.

Now I will say a little something about each masks I used... hehe~
Olive:
* It smelled good.
* It didn't smell like olive to me.
Blackbean:
* This smelled nasty!!! :X
* I don't know if this smelled like blackbean since I have no clue how blackbean smells like... lol~ :X
About a month and a half ago, I asked if I should continue using my sunscreen even though it expired (click here to read my post). A lot of you guys told me to throw it away and get a new one. I decided to chuck mine away and use a sample, same one... hehe~
Thank you for your advices!!! I really appreciate it. :)
Since then, as well as, using the sample one, I bought a new one recently last week.
They changed the SPF which used to be 30, now it's a tube with the opening on the bottom instead of a bottle with the opening on the top, and the overall look. Who knows maybe it's a whole new type and I'm comparing them to be the same... lol~ :X
Here's the ingredients, as well as, the active ingredients. If you're allergic to sunscreen and SPF products, it might be oxybenzone or avobenzone (bascially, any of the benzone family). This sunscreen is good because it has titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. ;)
