During Generation Beauty LA 2017, I helped out with Make Up For Ever. I was fortunate to get some beauty products.

I took this picture from my Instagram. Here are the products I got. I already reviewed Make Up For Ever Sens'Eyes (top middle) and Make Up For Ever Artist Liquid Matte in Praline (bottom right). For this post, I will review the foundation on the top middle.

Thoughts: When I was going through the website, this foundation really stood out to me for the main reason of hydration. Since I have dry skin, I don't want my foundation/BB Creams to look cakey. For this particular reason, I decided to try this out.
Here's a closer look at the pump.
Here's a swatch of the foundation on my hand.
Here's a star I created on my hand with Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. I apologize for the bad star. I'm not the best drawer.
Here's how the star looks with one layer of the foundation.
Here's how I look naturally without foundation. The only makeup is on my upper eye lid and eyebrow.
Here's how I look with the foundation. It doesn't look that bad in the picture but this is three layers. The only makeup I have on other than foundation is on my upper eye lid and eyebrow.
Here's an overall look with foundation, concealer, powder, and so on. I have Profusion Eyes & Lips Kit Mixed Metals 2 in Peach MM2 on the eyes and Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II on the lips.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's no noticeable scent while applying. I just sniffed the product and it smells like every foundation in the market. I know the description sounds strange, but foundations has an unique scent or at least it does for me. I, personally, don't mind the scent. Secondly, I like the packaging. It's simple, classic, and looks like a product from a high-end brand. It's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of thick glass. The top is also sturdy. It makes a clicking noise and I feel a tight seal when I open/close. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. It's also a decent size to hold with one hand. The pump is sturdy. You have full control of the quantity you pump. Third, the consistency is on the liquid side. I would say it's thin compared to most foundations that I know of. With that said, it's easy to use. When I first tried this product, I used a beauty sponge. Even though I soaked the beauty sponge in water, it still sucked up the foundation. When I applied the foundation on my skin with the soaked beauty sponge, it looked like I applied nothing on my skin. I tried it several times this way and the results were always the same. Then I moved onto a brush. Again, the brush soaked up the foundation and nothing showed up on my skin. It did the same thing as the beauty sponge. My last attempt was using my hand. Believe it or not this was the best application out of all. Since the consistency is made out of 80% water, it disperse quickly. If you have flawless skin and want a tint of color, this foundation is for you. For imperfection skin and aging, it might not be. Since I want to cover my imperfections, it doesn't do much. I can layer several and my imperfections still show. I have to use a concealer afterwards all over my face to hide some of my imperfections. For this reason, it'll be great for teenagers to people in their 20's with flawless skin. Lastly, it lasts all day on me. Since I have dry skin, most products do. It's extremely light-weight and comfortable. If you don't like the feel of foundation, then this is a good one. I'm glad I got to use this product. I've been curious about it, I tried it, and now it's almost time to move on. Even though I'm not a fan of this particular foundation, I am good when it comes to finishing the product. I'm at my last third of the product.
