Here's another review of PixieDust from Zoya. In all honesty, I cannot remember when I purchased it. I do remember it's from their fall/winter season.
This is Zoya PixeDust in Chita. Since I did a thorough review of Zoya PixieDust in Beatrix, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color and the website describes it "as a forest green in a matte, textured, sparkling finish." I agree with the description!
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to my favorite OPI brush, it's thinner and shorter. I would say the width of the brush is on the thin side.
I applied OPI Nail Envy in Original, Formula X For Sephora Base Coat, and 2 coats of Zoya PixieDust in Chita.
Now for my overall opinion... First of all and with all textured polishes, they're easy to use. You don't even need a top coat unless you want a shiny polish. With the top coat, the sandpaper-like feel will minimize. For that reason, I don't use a top coat. I feel like it goes away from the concept but that's just me. Secondly, there are no errors with these type of polishes. If you made a mistake, you can repaint that area and it'll look new. If the polishes chip during the week, you can paint that area and so on. Third, this is a great fall/winter color. Now that we're in fall, I've been wanting to wear darker colors and it came in handy. It also has a lot of silver sparkles. It works perfectly with the matte green. With that said, it does take some effort to remove because of the sparkles. It isn't as bad as glitters. Lastly and without reapplying, I noticed slight chipping on the fourth day.
Would repurchase: Yes.
