Last year in May 2014, I was lucky enough to attend LA's Swankiest Beauty Boudoir and All Things Girly Event.

Here are the items that were in the goody bag. I didn't get a chance to use the mask until this year.

Thoughts: Last year on Thanksgiving during the Black Friday sale, I met this mother and daughter. I honestly thought they were friends to be shocked their parent and child. The mother said she relies only on Mario Badescu skin care products. For that reason, I remember the mask I received and had to try it out. If I can look like the mother, why not!
Here's how the mask looks when I first open the sealed lid.
Here's a swatch of the mask on my hand.
Here's how the mask looks on me. I believe I took this picture when the mask was partially dry.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, it smells like every mask that you apply with your fingers. I know that doesn't make sense but I feel like they have this cement-like smell. It's not as bad as I describe it. Plus, the smell is temporary. It's only for couple of minutes. It could also be mental. Secondly, it's extremely easy to use. You can use a brush, but I go the lazy way and use my fingers. I apply a thin layer all over my face and let it sit for 20 minutes. Then I wash it off. Lastly, I noticed my skin glows and looks youthful right after I wash the mask off. I love how my skin looks! The fine/deep lines aren't even noticeable. Once I wake up, my skin doesn't look the same as the night before. It's not as youthful but it does look better than without using it. The fine lines diminished a bit but I still notice the deep lines. With time and making sure you use it often, I can see the skin improving. I hate to admit this but I wasn't dedicated. I think I'm much better with sheet masks because of my laziness. If you're not lazy, this is good and highly recommended!

Pros:
* Known for great skin care products.
* Easy to use.
* Dries quickly; make sure you don't facially move.
* Gives a glow.
* Skin looks youthful.
* Fine/deep lines diminishes.
* With time, skin should improve.

Cons:
* Cement-like scent but it's temporary.
* Not the most sanitary safe if you use your fingers.

Would repurchase: Yes.
