My friend was kind enough to gift me some Zoya nail polishes.

Here are the polishes. For this post, I will review the polish on the far right.

Thoughts: I was excited to try another brand of textured nail polishes. The only one I have tried was OPI and my experience with OPI has been amazing. I'm so thankful to my friend for introducing me to this line from Zoya!
Here's a close-up of Beatrix. It's very true to color.
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to my favorite OPI brush, I would say this is in-between thin to medium.
Here's how the nail polish looks on my nails. Now that I read the description, I did my nails wrong. :X I'm not suppose to apply base coat. I did and 2 coats of nail polish.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I'm not suppose to use base coat. I was thinking this is similar to OPI Liquid Sand but it's kind of not. With OPI Liquid Sand, you use base coat and apply 2 coats of polish. With Zoya, you only use 2 coats of nail polish. With saying that, I'm not too sure if the nail polish lasted longer on me because I used a base coat. It started chipping on the 6th day. I was really impressed! Now I'm curious, how long the polish would last if I did not use the base coat. :/ Other than using the polish wrong, it felt exactly like OPI Liquid Sand. It was easy to apply and went on smoothly. The only thing it didn't do is dry matte. It dried shimmery which made it hard to figure out if it was dry or wet. For that reason, I have no clue if it dried quickly or not. I didn't touch my nails in fear of ruining it. Once it dried, it felt like OPI Liquid Sand (sandy-like). As days went by, it became less sandy-like.

Pros:
* Only need the nail polish; no base and top coat.
* Free of toluene, formaldehyde, DBP (phthalates) and camphor.
* Thin to medium brush; easy to reach the sides.
* Easy to use.
* Applies smoothly.
* Lasted 6 days before chipping.

Cons:
* Hard to find in stores.

Would repurchase: Yes.
Rating:  4.5/5 Tobey's Paws

The removal process is very similar to glitter polishes, but I soak the nails with removal. Then it makes it easy to remove.
