For the last month or two, every time I visit the drugstore I see the Maybelline ColorSensational The Buffs in Bare All Collection display. I'm so drawn to it, but I leave with nothing. I finally gave in and purchased one of the lipsticks from the collection.

Thoughts: I don't know if it's the year of the nudes, but I've been drawn to them lately. So when I saw the display, I kept looking and debating until I finally bought one. I bought the most safest out of the collection, Nude Lust.
Here's a closer look at the lipstick. It's very true to color!
Here's a swatch of the color.
Now for how it looks on me...
I have naturally light pink lips. There's no brown tone whatsoever not even the outline of my lips. The lipstick with a combination of my light pink lips makes it look creamy beige.
Here's an overall look on me.
Now for my overall opinion... First of all and with all Maybelline ColorSensational lipsticks, it comes with a scent. I've heard people say the scent smells waxy but it doesn't to me. It's musky but not to the point of I cannot stand the smell. It actually doesn't bother me which is shocking! Plus the scent only lasts a minute or at least that's how long it takes for me to get to use to it. Secondly, it applies smoothly and it's not sticky. I also think compared to a lot of sheer lip products, it's on the thicker side. For that reason, it's pigmented. Thankfully, they have a wide range of nude colors. Nude colors can be on the risky side. Some colors can look good on you and some may make you look deadly. When I first apply this lipstick, I look like I'm dead. After some time, the color changes on me. It's not a huge difference but I like it better. Lastly, it's long lasting until you eat or drink.
Pros:
* Maybelline; a lipstick brand I tend to like.
* Comes in a variety of nudes shades.
* Smooth application.
* Not sticky.
* Consistency on the thick side.
* Pigmented.
* Long lasting until you eat or drink.
Cons:
* Musky scent.
Would repurchase: Yes.
