It's been awhile since I reviewed a product *sigh*. Whenever I want to take pictures on the weekend (I can't on the weekday since I work), there's no sun. :/ My reviews might be late, but it's better now than never or at least I like to think so! ;)

Thoughts: The first thing I do with SPF products is check the active ingredients. Thankfully, it only has octinoxate and octisalate. I try to avoid the ingredients oxybenzone and avobenzone. I'm allergic to either ingredients or both. That I'm not too sure about, but I will find out soon enough when I play around with some products that only have one of them. :X Now that I knew I wasn't allergic to the product, I had to get one. To be safe, I decided to only get one and I'm always like that with SPF products. Once I try them out and I'm okay, no allergic reaction, I tend to buy more if I like the product.
For the packaging, I thought it kind of looks kiddish. It reminds me of something I would use in elementary/middle school. That's my own opinion. You don't have to agree. :P Even with the packaging, I still wanted to get one.
It smells like fruit punch. It smells heavenly!!! :) Unfortunately, I don't smell the fruit punch while putting it on my lips. I smell something fruity, but it's not specific. I still like the smell.
It's a sheer, light baby pink color. The more you layer on your lips, it gets a little bit brighter or at least for me. It's hard to say since I have naturally, light pink color. I tend to show more color on my lips than most people. I also heard it's the most tinted one from the Baby Lips.
Here's how the color looks on me. I actually like the color on me! :) The color lasts for some time on me until I eat or play with my lips. Then it will fades.
Now for the most important factor, does it hydrate my lips for 8 hours and make it baby soft? My lips feel better after several hours of wearing this especially during this winter weather with my chapped lips. Would I say it's hydrating for 8 hours? I wouldn't say that. I think it hydrates like any moisturizing lip products. Does it make my lips baby soft? I wouldn't say that unless I wear it throughout the day on daily basis.
Pros:
* Maybelline; I tend to like their products.
* SPF 20.
* Does not contain oxybenzone and avobenzone.
* Packaging is kiddish; make me feel young again.
* Smells like fruit punch; fruity.
* Sheer, light baby pink color.
* Hydrated a bit.
Cons:
* Not UVA; protects the inner layer of the skin.
* Packaging is kiddish.
* Color will probably not show up on darker lips.
Would repurchase: Yes, for this color. Possibly a maybe for #15 Cherry Me.
Rating: 3.5/5 Tobey's Paws
Other Maybelline products reviewed/swatch:
EyeStudio Color Explosion
EyeStudio Duo EyeshadowI've been obsessed with nail polishes this month *sigh*. I need to stop buying, but I'm loving the glitter and flakes that you put on top of a base color.
Revlon in #761 Scandalous. Since I missed out the first dupe of Deborah Lippmann nail polish, Revlon in Faucets of Fuchsia. I had to get this one when I saw it.
Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in #150 Glass Slipper. I first saw this on a blog and wanted it badly! I'm so obsessed with flakes and knew I had to get it. Only thing is it came out months ago, and was extremely hard to find. For some lucky reason, I found it at my local Rite-Aid. Not only did I find one, I found three and bought all of them. :X
Here's my NOTW. I'm wearing a dark blue with the Glass Slipper on top. For some odd reason, the blue is lighter in the picture and you can hardly see the flakes. :/ The flakes look like diamonds in person; very sparkly and bright.
Finger Paints in Twisted. It's a gorgeous, multi-colored flakes. Love it!!! I'm a little sad that my co-worker spilled half the bottle, but she replaced it with an OPI nail polish. I'm hoping my Sally's will replace these so I can get another one.
This was my nail last week. Black with Twisted on top. Love it!!!
Orly in Frisky. I needed a good cream, light blue color for a nail art I'm planning on.
Orly in Shining Star. I saw this in the clearance bin so I had to grab it. I thought it would make a great top color.
OPI in Black Onyx. I was shock I did not have a solid, dark black color so I got one.
OPI Crackle in Blue Shatter. I only own a black one and suppose to have gotten a silver one for Christmas from a friend. I haven't seen that friend in awhile so no clue when I'll get my gift. :X I had to buy one when it's on sale at Ulta.
OPI in Save Me. It's from the Nicki Minaj Collection, and my replacement nail polish from the co-worker. I love it on top of black and cannot wait to try this out!
