This is a repeat of Ciate in Hopscotch that I reviewed in July 2016.
Here's a closer look at the packaging. I cannot find it on the website. It's either sold out or discontinued. I think it's the second but I could be wrong. Since I did a thorough review of Ciate in Plastic Fantastic, I will base this on that. Here's a closer look at the color. It is slightly brighter on the nails than from the bottle. Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to OPI, the width and the length is the same. The only difference is the tip. OPI is straight, whereas, Ciate has a curve tip.I applied OPI Nail Envy in Original, Madam Glam Gelementary Gel-Like Base Coat, two coats of Ciate in Hopscotch, and topped all the nails with Essie Good To Go Top Coat. Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the brush is wide enough to do three strokes and move onto the next nail. Not only that, the curve tip helps paint around the cuticle and sides. Secondly, I love the packaging. It's so cute with the bow. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of thick glass. The top is also sturdy. You can feel a tight seal when you open and close. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. It's easy to throw in your purse, bag, and even your pocket. It's also easy to hold with one hand. Third, the consistency is creamy and on the medium. It's not too thick that it's hard to work with. It's also not too thin that it runs. It's a good consistency and you can take your time with painting. It will not get clumpy while using. With that said, it's easy to use. It goes on smoothly, and there are no streaking and bubbles. Fourth, the color is a perfect orange-red. Most orange-red colors are on the warm side and better for the fall season. This particular color is bright and great for the summer season. Pigmentation-wise it's up there. Two coats were good enough for my skin tone. Lastly, I saw slight shrinkage on the fourth day. It was so slight that it's wasn't noticeable. I only noticed because I looked at it closely for review purposes. Every since then, I haven't seen any more shrinkage. I'm on my sixth day and it still looks good. There is still no chipping whatsoever. I am glad I got this polish. It's gorgeous and long-lasting!
Would repurchase: Yes.
