I am fortunate to work with Madam Glam.
I took this picture from my Instagram. I already reviewed Madam Glam in Minty Canvas (third from the left). For this post, I will review the polish on the left.
This is Madam Glam in Kiss Me Now. Since I did a thorough review of Madam Glam in Make A Wish, I will base this on that.
Ingredients:
Ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, nitrocellulose, adipic acid?neopentyl glycol/trimellitic, anhydride copolymer, acetyl tributyl citrate, isopropyl alcocol, silica, acrylates copolymer, rtyrene/acrylates copoplymer, bensophenone-3, trimethylpentanediyl, dibenzoate, benzophenone-1, alumia polyvinyl, Butyral, D&C Violet #2, (CI60725)
Here's a closer look at the ingredients.
Here's a closer look at the color. The website describes it as "salmon pink: it's just pure passion. Like a kiss you cannot control. It just has to happen. Now!" I don't know if I agree with salmon pink. I imagined salmon pink being a little bit lighter. This is a bright coral pink. It's definitely brighter than the color from the bottle.
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to my favorite OPI brush, the width is thinner. The length on the other hand is the same. I would say the width is on the thin side.
I applied OPI Nail Envy in Original, Formula X Prime Xcel Base Coat, two layers of Madam Glam in Kiss Me Now, and then topped it off with Formula X Shine Xcel Top Coat.
Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I usually don't like thin brushes but this didn't bother me. Since the consistency is slightly thick, thin brushes work better. It'll be less messy. I just grabbed slightly more polish than usual for each nail. Secondly, I like the packaging. It's simple, sturdy, well-made, and easy to grab with my hand. The top is also sturdy. I cannot see this open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. It's also small enough to put it in your pocket, purse, bag, and so on. Third, the consistency is creamy and in-between medium to thick. It's on the slightly thick side but I noticed that's usually the case with neon colors. Even though it's slightly thick, it didn't get lumpy with usage. Some neon colors get thicker with usage and makes it hard to paint. This didn't do that and I was able to take my time. With that said, it went on smoothly and there were no streaking and bubbles. Fourth, the color is gorgeous. It's a perfect summer color! It's a bright coral pink color. Like I mentioned, it's a little bit brighter than the color from the packaging. It's also very pigmented. You can paint one thick layer but I still did two nevertheless. I'm just used to doing two coats. Lastly, there's no shrinkage whatsoever. I did notice slight chipping on the sides of the tips on the fifth day. It's so small that it's not noticeable at first glance. I only noticed because I examined it closely.
Would repurchase: Yes.
