When I saw the newest PixieDust from Zoya, I knew I had to grab one.

This is Zoya PixieDust in Noir from Ultra PixieDust Collection, Fall 2014. Since I did a thorough review of Zoya PixieDust in Beatrix, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color. The website describes it "as deep, vampy plum textured PixieDust with red Mega Hex Particles." It's true to color.
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to my favorite OPI brush, this is thinner in width and length. I consider the width in-between thin to medium and the length is short.
I applied Orly Calcium Shield Basecoat and topped it off with 2 coats of Zoya PixieDust in Noir.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all even though the brush is thin to medium and the length is short, it was easy to apply. It went on smoothly, and there was no streaking and bubbles. Secondly since I haven't used a PixieDust in a long time, I forgot you're not suppose to use a base coast. My bad! :X I get this confused with Liquid Sands from OPI. That one you're suppose to wear a base coat. I don't know if it's because I used a base coat, but the polish only lasted 3 days. Even though it only lasted 3 days, the color is gorgeous. It's a perfect holiday color.

Would repurchase: No.

Pretty color!! But why aren't you supposed to use a base coat before using it?

You're not the only one who doesn't like textured polishes. I know quite a few people. I find them cool. I tend to like unique products. I'm strange like that... hehe~

I'm not too sure why you're not suppose to use a base coat. I know with OPI, they recommend you use the base coat. PixieDust doesn't. :/ Sorry, I wasn't much of a help! :X
