Aveeno started a 3 week challenge couple of weeks ago and we just finished the second week.

It's simple... 1) Use AVEENO® Daily Moisturizing Lotion every day for three weeks 2) select and integrate one additional healthy habit of your choosing.
* Sleep more
* Eat Healthier
* Drink more water
* De-stress/mediate/reflect/take time for myself
* Daily exercise"
My challenge was to sleep more. You can read why I choose that challenge (Personal Tuesday: Aveeno Daily Challenge), as well as, the progress of my first week (Personal Tuesday: Aveeno Daily Challenge, Week 1). I strongly believe in baby steps instead of all in. The first week was to get into bed at 12 a.m. Sunday to Thursday. Since I could sleep in on the weekends, that was not an issue. Let me tell you, I did pretty good. Second week was not to take my cell phone to bed.
It was not just a fail, it was a huge failure! Not only did I take my cell phone to bed, I went to bed later than 12 a.m. Last week, I was on PMS and had a visit from my monthly cycle. The last several years I knew I get physically tired during this time of the month. I never realized how much it affected me. I had to take naps after work which completely messed up my sleeping habit. Not only that, it messed me up emotionally. I was more sensitive than usual. At least, I came out learning about my cycle. So for this week, it's to head to bed at 12 a.m and not take my cell phone.
Does your monthly cycle affect you as well?
