June Favorites and Finished Products

June Favorites

Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel: A friend gave me this product and told me it's the best toner she has ever tried. Before I talk about the product, if you want to purchase this toner you can get it at Sprouts. When she first told me about this toner, I did not know it was alcohol-free. If you have dry skin like myself, please look for alcohol-free products. If a product has alcohol, it will dry out your skin. That's definitely not good for dry and aging skin. After finding out it's alcohol-free, I was more excited to try this out. It also smells good. It smells like rose. Initially, I was not thrilled about the scent but you get use to it. This product is very cooling to the skin, refreshing, and it gets rid of the leftover makeup.

LacVert Everyday Sun Block: With the summer weather, I've especially been into sunblock. I've been looking for products that will last through this awful, hot weather we've been having. I need products that my sweat will not take off. I wanted to post this one last time knowing I'm at my last drop. This is one of my favorite sunblocks I have ever used. It's doesn't feel like a sunblock where it leaves a thick consistency, as well as, whiten my face. It sinks into your skin and feels like I'm wearing a lotion. I love that it's water-proof/water-resistance. It's such a shame I cannot find this product on Amazon, but I will wait until I know someone who goes to Korea. That's how I got this product.

touch in SOL In the Skin Renovation BB Cream: I received this product as a sample and I will write a thorough review of this product in a future post. I really want you guys to know what I think about it. It's definitely worth it. It's one of the thickest BB Creams I have ever tried. It's not extremely thick but more so on the medium consistency. This is great for people who want to cover up their acne and spots. The only downside with this product, as well as, most Asian BB Creams, there's no versatile with the skin color. They usually come in one color and it's for pale skin.

Clinique Chubby Stick in Woppin' Watermelon: Other than the color being a neutral pink, I'm loving the hydrating factor. For some odd reason, that's the only products I've been reaching for lately. I've always been into lip products from lipsticks to lipglosses. I love the concept how they change the color and makes them stand out. The downside I noticed is that if you have dry lips, it leaves that white residue between the lips. I hate that feeling and for that reason, I've been reaching for hydrating products. This hydrates, at the same time, it gives me a hint of color. You can check out my thorough review.

Hakuhodo Concealer Brush: I actually purchased this at The Makeup Show 2012. The makeup artists at the event mentioned one of their favorite brands is Hakuhodo. One particular artists said they have the best concealer brush. Since the brand was at the convention, I decided to see what they were all talking about. I've been using this more than a year now and I'm loving it. It's such a shame this isn't talked about in the blogosphere. It has to be the best concealer brush I have ever used!!! I love that the hair never gets out of shape, as well as with time, it doesn't get rougher. There's been so many brushes I love initially and will rave about it. After 6 months, my opinion of those brushes change. This definitely is not one of those. I still love it and the only one I reach for! I love how light the brush feels on the skin and does not dab a chunk of concealer.

June Finished Products
Elysee Compensatrice 4-In-1 Moisturizer: I bought this long time ago on HSN. It had great reviews and still does. I was curious about this product and thought an all over product. It sounded great that I only needed one product for day, night, and eye and throat cream. It also would be convenient for my lazy days and only need to reach for one product instead of multiples. In all honesty, I used this only for moisturizer. I still reached for eye cream and so on. This is very hydrating but definitely was not thick enough for my dry, winter skin. It's great for summer skin where you need a decent amount of hydration.

Would repurchase: Maybe.

Reviva Labs Cream: I received this product and did a thorough review. Please check out my review. This is a great product and at the end, I used this sparingly. I was sad to finish this product and yes, I know I can repurchase. I just want to finish the products I do have before I start repurchasing anything. It's very light but for something this light, the quality of the product is amazing! It's very hydrating even for my dry, winter weather. It sinks into my skin and I can see it hydrate at the spot.

Would repurchase: Yes.

Pure Label Sheet Masks: I bought these at the Los Angeles Korean Festival 2011 which I did not blog about. :/ They had such a great deal that I was curious about these products. They're hydrating but not soaked with serum like a lot of sheet masks made from China and Japan. Then again I used it this year when I purchased it in 2011. If you get to know me, you will know I have so many products that I just throw them in the closest. I get overwhelmed and don't know where to start. That's why there are times I forget about the products I have and then remember it later. It's such a bad habit and I hope no one becomes like me! :X Like I said, I remember these products this year. There's a good chance the product dried out but I doubt that much. They're hydrating and fits well on my face shape. Some of these did not have any scent like potato and  collagen. Some of them had floral scents like herb and white. Some of them has fruity scents like pomegranate and raspberry. My favorite scent had to be raspberry. It has to be the best scent mask I have ever tried! The masks were hydrating but I wouldn't say the best quality result I have ever seen. They just gave me some hydration for a day and that was it.

Would repurchase: Yes for raspberry, but most likely not.

Lush Skin Sin Body Lotion: A friend gave me this product and I did a thorough review of this product. I love that the product was moisturizing and it felt good on the skin. The only downside was the scent. I was not thrilled with the scent from beginning to end. I expected to get use to it, but I did not. Other than the scent, this would had been a great product! It melt onto my skin, as well as, improved my dry skin.

Would repurchase: No.
