After dinner with a friend, I visited ULTA (was next to the restaurant). While I was looking around, I saw MAC Nicki Minaj lip collection. I wasn't planning on getting anything then I decided to try one lipstick. It was a big mistake because I ended up loving how it looked on me.

Description from the website: For even more au naturel, strip down to bare, brazen basics in a lineup of additional nude Lipstick colours, all with colour-matched outer packaging.
Ingredients:
Thoughts: Now that it's fall, I've been loving darker colors. It's strange because I'm loving colors I cannot see myself wearing in the past. It's amazing how I change over the years. This particular color isn't that dark but it's a lot more brown/caramel than what I go for.
Here's a closer look at the packaging. It's their typical lipstick packaging.
Here's a closer look at the color. The website describes it as "dirty midtone yellow brown." I have to agree.
Here's a swatch of the lipstick on my hand.
Here's how the lipstick looks on me.
Here's an overall look. I have Dose of Colors Desi X Katy The Girls Palette and MAC eyeshadow in Mulch on the eyes.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's a slight scent while applying. Since it's so light, I cannot distinguish the smell. I just sniffed the product and it smells like how it's applied. All I could say is that it smells like every MAC lipsticks I have tried and own. Secondly, I love the packaging. I've always had. It just looks different than other lipsticks in the market. It's sleek, has a sharp point (kind of looks like a bullet), and looks high-end. It stands out in my opinion. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. The top is also sturdy. It makes a clicking noise when I open/close the top. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. It's also small enough to throw in your purse, bag, and pocket. Third, the consistency is creamy. It glides on the lips and does not tug. It's easy to use. I use the pointy side of the lipstick to outline the lips and I fill the remaining with the flat, round side. It goes on smoothly and leaves a nice, smooth, creamy texture. I do recommend exfoliating, as well as, hydrating the lips before applying the lip product. Since it's on the matte side, it will show the dry patches. Fourth, the color is on the warm side. It might not look good on all skin colors. For myself, I like warm tones and I tend to grab it more towards fall. With that said, it's a great fall color! Pigmentation-wise it's up there. They're the most pigmented/full coverage from MAC or at least from my experience. One layer was good enough for me. Lastly, it lasted until I ate. I have a tendency to wipe my mouth after I eat. For that reason, it doesn't last that long on me. If you don't wipe your mouth, this should last longer. With that said, it's extremely comfortable and did not dry out my lips. I did not see any white residue in the center of the lips. I was first introduced to MAC in college and I wore it until I learned about other brands. For some odd reason, the past several months I've been buying MAC lipsticks. I forgot how much I use to like them!
