For Christmas 2015, my friend gifted me some The Body Shop products.

I took this picture from my Instagram. I already reviewed The Body Shop Body Butter in Frosted Cranberry (right). For this post, I will review the shower gel on the left.
Product Review: The Body Shop Shower Gel in Frosted Cranberry

Where to purchase: The Body Shop and online thebodyshop-usa.com
Price: $10 for 250 mL/ 8.4 fl oz

Made in UK

Description from the package: Soap-free cleansing. With cranberry extract and Community Fair Trade honey from Ethiopia.
Thoughts: I haven't tried any their shower gels and for that reason, I was excited to try this product out.
Here's a closer look at the opening.
Here's a swatch of the product on a cotton pad.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's a slight scent while applying the product. It's sweet and refreshing, but I cannot distinguish the smell while using. I just sniffed the product and it smells sweet. I'm not too sure if that's how cranberry is supposed to smell like. I think the sweetness comes from frosted but I could be wrong. Secondly, I like the packaging. The design is simple and cute. It comes in a sturdy plastic container that you can see through. I like that I'm able to see the product go down. I might just be strange that way. It just makes me feel good to know I'm using my products especially since I own so many. With that said, it comes with a sturdy top. It's easy to snap open and close especially with wet hands, but at the same time it won't open unless you open it manually. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. It will not break or open unless you are rough with the packaging. Lastly, it definitely has a gel-like consistency. I squeeze a small amount onto an Asian shower towel that exfoliates while washing. I just find it easy to do two things at one time. Basically, I'm just lazy. With this product, a little goes a long way or at least it does for me. The small amount that I squeeze onto the towel I can wash my body from head to toes. Since I'm the only one using this product, I can use it for months. When it comes to body washes/shower gels, I need one that lathers. It makes me feel better and I feel cleaner. It's all mental though. This particular shower gel lathers enough for my taste. It's a good shower gel because I feel clean, fresh, and I smell good. The smell doesn't last all day on me. I can smell it for several minutes after I come out of the shower.

Pros:
* Sweet and refreshing scent.
* Simple and cute design.
* Sturdy plastic packaging.
* See through; can see the product go down.
* Sturdy top that you can snap open and close.
* Travel-friendly.
* Gel-like consistency.
* A little goes a long way.
* Lathers.

Cons:
* Smell doesn't last that long.

Would repurchase: Yes.
