In September 2015, I went to Vanity Fair for Emmy. We were lucky enough to get some Viktor & Rolf perfumes.

Here are the goodies I got that weekend. I am going to review one of the Viktor & Rolf perfume, bright pink box on the left.
Product Review: Viktor & Rolf Perfume in Bonbon

Where to purchase: department stores and online at neimanmarcus.com
Price: $115 for 50 mL/ 1.7 fl oz

Made in France

Description from the website: The bow is an iconic symbol in fashion designers Viktor & Rolf's rich heritage; one that embodies the essence of the brand's haute couture spirit. While wearing a bow is a personal, decorative experience; unwrapping one signifies a celebratory occasion.

Sculpted to perfection, the one-of-a-kind Bonbon bow bottle proves that the impossible is possible. Its design was handcrafted with precision and craftsmanship, much like the detail involved in the creation of a couture garment.

BONBON is a timeless sensation inviting a pure and absolute pursuit of pleasure. It is an haute confection that fuels desire through a scent so irresistible, it is nearly edible; a delicious olfactory, dessert composed of juicy caramelized fruits, sun drenched flowers and sweet creamy woods that create a delightful self-indulgent experience.

The Fragrance Notes:

Thoughts: When it comes to fragrances, I had the mentality to use one product at a time. I started accumulating perfumes, spray, and so on. None of them were getting love. In all honesty, they weren't even being touched. I realized that wasn't a good mentality. I decided to use what I feel that day instead of trying to use one product at a time. I thank Vanity Fair, Blogger Babes, and Viktor & Rolf to help me change my mentality! For that reason, I was extremely excited to try this perfume.
Here's a closer look at the packaging. Isn't it adorable!?!?
Here's a closer look at the spray.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all out of the two Viktor & Rolf perfumes, I was most intrigued with this smell. The other one was floral, whereas, this is more on the sweet side. If you know me or have been reading my blog for some time, you know I'm a fruity/sweet type of person. This perfume is extremely sweet. It smells like candy. There are times it reminds me of cotton candy. Secondly, I love the packaging of the perfume. It's extremely attractive and just plain cute. Who doesn't love ribbons and not only that, the color of the packaging is very romantic and pretty. With that said, I did find it a little bit awkward in the beginning. It was kind of strange holding the bottle when I sprayed it. Once I got used to it, I now know how to spray better. Third even though I love the packaging and the smell, it's not one that I would repurchase. Since I have so many perfumes, I would only repurchase if it really stands out to me. Lastly, I was impressed how long it lasted. Most perfumes/body spray lasts less than an hour on me. This lasted more than 2 hours. I could smell it on myself even after 2 hours especially if it's in my hair. I was really impressed with the longevity!

Pros:
* Cute, adorable packaging!
* Packaging is detailed-oriented.
* Sweet scent; reminds me of candy.
* Lasted more than 2 hours.

Cons:
* Costly.
* Can be uncomfortable holding the bottle.
* Can be too sweet.

Would repurchase: Maybe.
