Please don't forget to enter Maple Holistics Argan Shampoo and Silk 18 Conditioner Giveaway. It ends September 29, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. PST (Pacific time).
I was lucky enough to attend Vanity Fair Social Club to celebrate the Emmy Awards the weekend of September 19 and 20, 2015. Thank you Blogger Babes for this opportunity!
It was held at WeWork in Hollywood. As soon as I entered, I saw this on the floor. It looks so modern and love the hashtag.
As soon as we claimed our spots on the couch, we looked around. The first place we went was the flower bed. They designed the bed with fake flowers. I'm not 100% sure but I think it's sponsored by Viktor & Rolf. I'm guessing that from the logo, block design, in the front. If you look up from the bed, you will see a camera looking down from the tree. That's where it takes pictures. After you take a picture, you get a copy. It's really cool and it reminds me of professional magazine with flowers in the background. I took one but I look awful in it!
I took this picture from my Instagram. The next stop was the Social Shop. Since there was so many people around the shop, I couldn't take a picture of the area. This was the displace of two of the Viktor & Rolf perfumes. The purple bottle is Bonbon and my favorite out of the two. It's on the sweet side which is so my style. The other bottle is the famous Flowerbomb.
Then we went to get breakfast. In all honesty, they fed us well the two days we were there. It was non-stop, gourmet, delicious food and open bar.
This was my breakfast try. I choose to eat these items. Let me tell you they were all good.
While sitting on the couch, I noticed this small, private room. The sliding doors have these cute, comic-like pictures of celebrities. I didn't take everything but here is the one I did take. I love it!
Now for the panels...
Saturday:
The first one was "In Conversation with Matthew Weiner." He's an award winning Mad Men creator and Emmy nominee. The Host was Krista Smith, Vanity Fair's West Coast Editor.
The next one was "Presidential Debate." This was the most, highly anticipated that we were looking forward to. It's with Scandal actor Tony Goldwyn and the host Vanity Fair's Emily Poenisch.
The third was "American Actor Story." This actually ended up being my favorite panel of the day. It's with Emmy nominee Sarah Paulson and the host is Vanity Fair's Ned Zeman. I ended up liking this actress. She was real and I loved it!
The last panel of Saturday was "Honor Roll Call." It's with Emmy nominated Keegan Michael Key and Jordan Peele with the host Vanity Fair Nell Scovell.
Sunday:
The first panel of the day is "The Road to Acceptance." The host was Vanity Fair's West Coast Editor Krista Smith. She conversed with Vanity Fair's Joanna Robinson, time's Sam Lansky, and Gold Derby's Tom O'Neil. I actually like this panel. It was interesting and has to be the favorite of Sunday.
The next panel is "How Social Influences Beauty and Fashion Now." The host is Shira Lazar, and YouTubers Amanda Steele and Lauren Elizabeth.
The last panel is "The 6-Second Solution?" The host is Ryan M Detert from The Influential Network. He conversed with Aaron Carpenter, Brent Rivera, Christian Collins, Crawford Collins, and Wesley Stromberg. Here's three of the Vine stars.
Here's the other two. The kid on the left is a repeat from the picture above. I don't know if it's just me but it feels like young, American boys are the thing on the Vine. I'm sure there are other people. I just noticed that with this panel and the boy from Dancing With The Stars.
Then we ended Sunday with watching Emmy Awards Viewing Party. I actually wasn't planning on staying the whole time but I enjoyed it so much that I did.
Here are the goodies I got from the Social Shop. We had to either tweet or post on Instagram. I got Bonbon and Flowerbomb perfumes from Viktor & Rolf, Chloe Wine Collection Corkscrew, and gift certificate from Brooks Brothers. I also got Viktor & Rolf cologne in Spicebomb. I gave that to my dad as soon as I got home.
"Flowerbomb is a floral explosion, a profusion of flowers that has the power to make everything seem ore positive. Magically evocative notes will immediately awaken your deepest sense, giving you the impression of living life in your own secret garden away from reality.
Bonbon is a timeless sensation inviting an absolute pursuit of pleasure. It is an haute confection that fuels desire through a scent so irresistible, it is nearly edible: a delicious olfactory dessert composed of juicy caramelized fruits, sun-drenched flowers, and sweet creamy woods that create a delightful self-indulgent experience."
I took this from the schedule pamphlet. I thought they said it nicely and thought I would pass it along.
