I took this picture from my Instagram. I already reviewed Julep in Dianna on the far left. I also reviewed The Face Shop Nature Mask in Olive and Pomegranate on the bottom left. For this post, I will review the Julep polish on the far right.
This is Faye. Since I did a thorough review of Julep in Renee, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color and it's very true. The website describes the color as "liquid bronze shimmer." I'm not too sure what a liquid is suppose to look like, but I definitely agree with bronze shimmer. It's kind of funny because my co-worker and I was trying to figure how to describe the color (this is before I saw the website). I told her it's brown. She said it's gold. I guess it's in the middle. :X
The brush is comparable to OPI which I consider at the medium. I would say the width is a little bit thinner but not much. The length is the same.
I usually try to take a picture as soon as I apply the polish but unfortunately, I couldn't this time around. Please forgive the chipping on the bottom. I applied Orly Calcium Shield Basecoat, 2 coats of Julep in Faye, and then topped it off with Butter London Hardwear P.D. Quick Topcoat.
Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the consistency is medium. I didn't find it hard to apply onto my nails. It was pretty easy, and there was no streaking and bubbles. Secondly, I'm not the biggest fan of brown polishes but I do have to say it's pretty. It's extremely unique. I definitely have not seen this color before. With that said, I just think it looks bad on my skin tone. I think it'll look better on real pale skin. With darker skin, it'll just blend in and will not stick out. This is a very tricky color. Lastly, the lasting power was 5 days before chipping. It mostly only chipped at the tip and it was minimal.
Would repurchase: No.

It looks bronze! Very pretty color. I think I've loved every color from Julep. LOL That's why I won't subscribe, because I would love them all. HaHaHa

It's a pretty color but like you, I don't think this kind of colors suit my skin tone.
It is a pretty color. It's so sad we both can't pull it off! :(
You don't own any colors from Julep? I completely understand why you don't subscribe, life a beauty blogger... hehe~
