In October 2013, I attended iFabbo San Francisco Conference.

We received a swag bag. Here are the products we received. I already reviewed Vitabath Body Wash in Cucumber & White Tea (top left), Vitabath Body Wash in Dreamy Pink Frosting (top left), DermOrganic Intensive Hair Repair Masque (bottom right), and DermOrganic Daily Conditioning Shampoo (bottom right). For this post, I will review a product from DermOrganic on the bottom right.

Thoughts: When I first received this product, I didn't think anything of it. At that time, I didn't use oil in my hair. Over the years from aging, as well as, dying my hair, my hair has gotten thinner and drier. Now I use oil every time after I shower to hydrate my ends.
Here's a closer look at the opening.
Here's a swatch of the product on my hand.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's no noticeable scent while applying. I just sniffed the product and there's a slight scent coming from the package. It's sweet but I cannot distinguish the smell. I also sniffed my hair and this is where I got the most scent. It's sweet like candy. If you don't like the scent, you really cannot smell it unless you're sniffing the hair like crazy. I, personally, like the smell. Secondly, the packaging is nice. It's simple and clean. I wish it was see through so I can see the product go down, but that's just me. It makes me feel productive to know I'm using products. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of thick plastic. The lid is also sturdy. You can feel a tight seal and a clicking noise when you open and close the lid. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly, I do recommend putting the bottle in a Ziploc bag just in case it spills on the sides. Mine hasn't but I hardly travel. It's easy to put in your purse and bag. It's also easy to hold with one hand. Third, the consistency is an oil and I would say medium. It's not too thick that it's hard to absorb into the hair. It's also not too thin that it runs while applying. It's a good consistency. With that said, it's easy to use. I dry my hair but not completely. I dry to a point it's very slightly moist. Then I pour a quarter size amount onto the palm of one hand. Then I pat the palms of both hands together and apply at the ends first. Then I move up. Just make sure you don't apply a lot on the roots. The roots will get oilier quicker than normal. My hair especially the ends absorbs the oil like no other. Since it's dried from bleaching and coloring, it needs as much moisture as possible. For this reason, it's absorbs the oils. Not only has my hair improved over the months, it's become softer and shinier. It's not as brittle as before. I can even comb my hair which is amazing! I honestly believe it's a combination of products including this. Basically, what the oil is doing is it's coating the hair so the moisture stays in the hair. You just need to be consistent and do it at least twice a week. If you are consistent, the hair will improve. With that said, a little goes a long way with this product. A quarter size amount is good for my long hair. My hair reaches to the waist. If your hair is shorter, you will need less. I've been using this product for years and I'm finally reached three fourth of the bottle. Lastly, I'm glad I got this product. I highly recommend it if you have dry hair, as well as, aging. It will improve with time. It doesn't happen overnight but you can see the difference. It's also good for people who dye/bleach their hair.
