April 2017, last month, Sephora had a 15% off VIB sale.
Here are the products I bought during the sale. For this post, I will the lip product on the top right.
I bought another Sephora Favorites. The first one I bought was Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lips 2016. I already reviewed Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Stepping Out and Too Faced Melted Liquified Lipstick in Chihuahua. The second one is Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip 2017. I already reviewed Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Honeycomb and Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Comfort Matte in 1993. This is my third and you can only purchase this one from Sephora inside JCPenny. There is one from Sephora you can purchase Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude 2017. The one from Sephora you get one full-size product and five deluxe samples. The one I got from Sephora inside JCPenny you get two full-size products and three deluxe samples. I never noticed the amount you get decreased by one compared to the past. I'm kind of sadden to see that!
Here's how it looks inside.
Here are the lip products. The two full-size products are NARS and Urban Decay. The rest are deluxe samples. For this post, I will review Urban Decay on the bottom right.
Product Review: Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick in Trivial
Where to purchase: Sephora, ULTA, and online at urbandecay.com
Price: $18 for 0.17 oz/5.3 mL
Description from the website: This is Vice Liquid Lipstick-a waterproof formula so life-proof, it's not going ANYWHERE until you take it off. (Just imagine the possibilities.) What makes Vice Different? Our high-tech formula provides longer-lasting wear with ZERO transfer. Like our original formula, Vice Liquid Lipstick lays down intensely pigmented color. And the comfortable, nondrying wear sets it apart from other liquid lipsticks.
Choose from a huge range of 30 shades and two finishes-comfort matte and metallized. From neutrals with a UD edge to the bold brights color junkies crave, we've got something for everyone. Our lineup includes everything from must-have colors from our Vice Lipstick range to limited-edition shades you begged us to bring back.
Hot on the heels of the launch of our creamy, addictive Vice Lipstick formula, Wende decided to create a liquid lipstick that feels as good as it looks. Our formula holds heavy loads of pearls and glitter, so our shade lineup ranges from shimmery to matte. Special technology in the formula allows the pearl to float on top, giving our metallized shades the maximum amount of shimmer.
Vice Liquid Lipstick comes in a clear tube (so you can see the shade inside) with a metallized gunmetal cap and gold accents (reminiscent of our Vice Lipstick case). The extra long, flocked paddle applicator provides a nice, even laydown of color every time. The flat edge gives you complete coverage in one coat, while the tip allows for precision lining-perfect for areas like the corners of the lips and the Cupid's bow.

Thoughts: When Urban Decay came out with liquid lipsticks. I've been wanting to try one. This gave me a good opportunity to try it.
Here's a closer look at the color.
Here's a closer look at the doe-foot applicator.
Here's a swatch of Trivial on my hand. The Sephora website describes it as "matte pink nude." I definitely don't completely agree with the description. I consider matte with no shimmers. This definitely has shimmers.
Here's how it looks on me.
Here's an overall look. I have Kate Eyeshadow in BR-1 on the eyes.
Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's no noticeable scent while applying. I just sniffed the product and there's a slight, vanilla scent. It's not strong and doesn't smell chemically. Secondly, I like the packaging. It's very sleek and professionally looking. The top also has an unique shape that makes it slightly different than others. I like that it comes in see through packaging that you can actually see the color of the liquid lipstick. If you own more than one, you can distinguish them apart. With that said, it's sturdy and well-made. When I open/close the top, I feel a slight twist towards the beginning and end of turning. It tells me it's tight and you cannot open unless you open it manually. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. I cannot see it break unless you are rough with the packaging. Also the doe foot applicator is different than most liquid lipsticks. Most liquid lipsticks are slanted on one side of the tip. This one is slanted on one side but it's the entire side not only the tip. I find it interesting. It's easy to outline the outside of the lips while filling the remaining. It's definitely easier to fill the entire lip at one stroke versus going over multiple times with the slanted tip. Third, the consistency is creamy unlike a lot of liquid lipsticks. Even though it's creamy, it's very thin like most liquid lipsticks. It glides on the lip and does not tug. With that said, it dries quickly. Mine dries within several seconds to a minute depending on how thinly I apply. Once it dries, it's set and does not move. It's also not sticky whatsoever. Like all liquid lipsticks, it feels like your normal lip and you're not wearing anything. Since liquid lipsticks sets on top of your lips, it falls within the lines. With this particular liquid lipstick, I didn't notice any fine to thick lines. I noticed all the dry patches on my lips and I even exfoliated before using this product. There's a chance I didn't notice the fine lines because of the dry patches. It just stood out. Another thing is there's a lot of shimmer in this particular color. Not the glittery shimmers but more a slightly metallic shimmer. Fourth, it's not my color. I like pinkie nudes but this has way too many shimmer for my taste. If you're into shimmery lip colors, this is a good one. I'm not into shimmery looks, as well as, metallic. If there were no shimmer, I would most likely like this color. With that said, it's a great color for spring/summer season. For pigmentation, it's pretty pigmented. It's not the most extreme but it is up there in pigmentation. Lastly, it lasted quite some time. I usually wipe my mouth after I eat and this color lasted through that. It wasn't fully all there but I would say about 80% was still left after eating and wiping my mouth. That's pretty decent considering most liquid lipsticks come off in the center of the lips. With that said, it was comfortable and not drying at all. I didn't see any white residue in the center of my lips.
