Here's my May 2017 Play! By Sephora.

The theme for May 2017 is "The Rising Stars."

"Beauty On The Rise: This month we're taking you on a tour of cult favorites, hard-to-find formulas, and one-of-a-kind brands that are making their mark."

Inside every month you receive 50 extra Beauty Insider points.
Inside each box, there's a bag of goodies. I have to say this is the cutest bag so far since I joined, as well as, my favorite.
The first sample is Grande Lips Lip Plumper in Clear. It's described as "clear gloss uses a patented hyaluronic acid-infused formula to visibly plump lips while also softening over time." I like that it's hydrating but I'm not much of a lip plumper gal. I'll probably gives this away.
The second sample is Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask. It's described as "non-irritating mask works like a peel treatment to purify and revitalize skin with a proprietary blend of potent botanicals."
Here's a closer look at the mask.
The third sample is Milk Makeup Blur Stick. It's described as "matte-coverage blurring stick smooths and primes all skin tones for makeup by minimizing the appearance of pores and fine lines."
Here's a closer look at the Blur Stick. There's a safety cover inside the top. I tried taking it off but I gave up. I'm pretty excited to try this one.
The fourth sample is Trestique Highlight + Perfect Multipurpose Stick in Maldives Luminescent. It's described as "this silky smooth gel highlighter stick pairs a barely there, lightweight texture with a luminous champagne pink shimmer."
Here's a closer look at the color. I'm also excited to try this product out.
The fifth sample is Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt. It's described as "cleanse, purify, and rebalance a sensitive or oily scalp with this soothing sea salt scrub that leaves hair soft and refreshed."
Here's a closer look at the scrub. This one sounds pretty interesting a scrub for the head.
The last sample is Nest Black Tulip. It's described as "warm, sweet notes of black amber plum are enhanced by hints of Japanese violet and patchouli in this new scent." I usually pass on fragrance samples but I might try this one out.

You can read my opinion on the first box of Play! By Sephora May 2016. This month I actually enjoyed. It's samples I don't even own, as well as, brands I have never heard of (not all). This is the main reason I subscribed to this subscription box. I want to be introduced to good brands that's easily accessible at Sephora. Not only that, the bag it came with is actually cute.
