Several years ago, I won a giveaway where Nicole by OPI collaborated with Dove.

I took this picture from my Instagram. For this post, I will review the polish on the left.
This is Nicole by OPI in Better After Dark. Since I did a thorough review of Nicole of OPI in Back In My Gloria Days..., I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color and I have to say it's lighter.
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to my favorite OPI brush, the width is the same. The length, on the other hand, is shorter. It's on the short side.
I applied OPI Nail Envy in Original, Formula X Prime Xcel Base Coat, 2 coats of Nicole by OPI in Better After Dark, and then topped it off with Formula X Shine Xcel Top Coat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I like the width. It's the same as OPI, and makes it easy to paint quickly and move onto the next nail. I wish the length was as long as OPI but unfortunately, it's on the short side. Even though it's short, I didn't have problem painting. I did notice I had to re-dip to grab more color for the layer. Secondly, the consistency is on the medium. Even though I received this several years ago and haven't used it once yet, the consistency did not get thick. With that said, it went on smoothly and there were no streaking and bubbles. Third, the color is actually pretty. When it comes to nail colors, the one color I avoid is brown. I just don't like the color on the nails. It's just my personal opinion. For that reason, it took me several years to finally try this polish. I ended up liking it. It's dark and has a burgundy tint even though it's supposed to be dark brown. It's definitely good for fall/winter season. Lastly, I'm on my fifth day and there isn't that much chipping. I see chipping on one side of one nail and that's about it. Shrinkage, on the other hand, started on the fourth day. It's barely noticeable. You can only notice if you examine closely with the eyes.

Would repurchase: Yes.
