My friend gifted me this polish from Julep. For the past few minutes, I've been looking through my Instagram looking to see when I received this. I can't seem to find it. I need to be better!

This is Julep in Francis. Since I did a thorough review of Julep in Renee, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color. The website describes it as "celery green creme." I don't know if I completely agree with the description.
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to my favorite OPI brush, the width and length are both slightly shorter. Even though the width is slightly thinner, I would still consider it medium width.
I applied OPI Nail Envy in Original, Formula X Prime Xcel Base Coat, 2 coats of Julep in Francis, and then topped it off with Formula X Shine Xcel Top Coat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the brush is on the medium. Usually it's my type of brush but I did have some trouble painting around the cuticles and sides. Honestly, it's not the brush. It's the consistency. With that said and secondly, the consistency is medium. It's usually my perfect consistency where I can take my time and not worry about the polish hardening while painting. For some reason, I would gather way to little or way to much whenever I dip my brush into the polish. That's where I had difficulties and frustration. I know some people repaint until they are happy. That's not me. I just continue even if it looks like a hot mess. There's nothing wrong with the consistency. I think it's all me. It was one of those days when everything went wrong. With that said, it went on smoothly and there were no streaking and bubbles. Third, it's a gorgeous color and perfect transitioning color from summer to winter. I cannot see myself wearing this during spring and winter. Lastly, it started shrinking at the tips on the fourth day but it was barely noticeable. I'm on my sixth day and I still haven't seen any chip. I'm pretty impressed but it probably has to do with the base and top coat.

Would repurchase: Yes.
