Personal Tuesday: Aveeno Daily Challenge, Week 3

This Personal Tuesday should had been up last week. If you read my last post, Manicure Monday: PaintFab in Modern Mauvels, you would have known I was really sick and still am slightly. I've had or it should be I have strep throat for more than a week. It's been about a week and a half, and I'm still fighting it. Anyone know a natural cure other than go see a doctor? I want to cure it naturally since I already did antibiotic drops for my pink eyes. I've read too much antibiotics isn't good. I also had pink eyes which was cured yesterday. Thank goodness! Anyways, back to the topic. Even though it's a week late, I've always believed it's better late than never.

Aveeno started a 3 week challenge several weeks ago and it ended two weeks ago.

"Spring is a great time to start fresh! So, to kick-off spring, we are challenging YOU to take the #AveenoDailyChallenge - for three weeks to a healthier and more beautiful you.

It's simple... 1) Use AVEENO® Daily moisturizing Lotion every day for three weeks 2) select and integrate one additional healthy habit of your choosing.

* Sleep more
* Eat healthier
* Drink more water
* De-stree/mediate/reflect/take time for myself
* Daily exercise"

My challenge was to sleep more. You can read why I choose that challenge (Personal Tuesday: Aveeno Daily Challenge), my first week struggle (Personal Tuesday: Aveeno Daily Challenge, Week 1), and my fail second week but learned about myself (Personal Tuesday: Aveeno Daily Challenge, Week 2). For the third week, I wanted to get into bed at 12 a.m. Sunday to Thursday. Since I can sleep in on the weekends, that was not an issue. At the same time once I'm in bed, not to use the cell phone. Since I was sick with the strep throat. I took NyQuil and that zonked me out. I had no problems. Even though I'm still taking NyQuil and I'm not having problems sleeping, I want to take this challenge with me after I stop taking NyQuil. I strongly believe in sleeping. It's good both mentally and physically. I want to better myself and it's all about baby steps. Thank you Aveeno for this challenge because it gave me a push.
I wanted to update my bed. For this challenge, I washed and changed all the sheets and comforter. Now that the challenge is over. I'm impressed I didn't mess up my bed that much. I still need to work on the bottom corner.
