This past weekend (January 17-19, 2014) was IMATS held at their usual place in Pasadena, California. The last time I went to IMATS was in 2009. I had a great time, and I feel so lucky to be able to attend Pro Night this year. Before Pro Night, I attended Crown Brush first blogger event. I feel fortunate I was invited to the event! I attended the event with my blogger/real life friend, Beautzy. It's always good seeing her. :)
The first demo was by the famous Nix Herrera. He's a professional body painter from Syfy's Face Off and Naked Vegas. Not only is he talented, but I found him adorable especially when he refers to his wife who was also there.
Unfortunately, I was not able to see the final result. I was running like a madwoman during the Pro Night. I did see it on Instagram and it came out great! Basically, he painted the female model to blend in with the pink background. Not only that, Crown Brush with collaboration with Nix Herrera will be coming out with body paint brushes this coming year.
The next demo was done by makeup artist for American Idol and X Factor, Autumn Scruggs. She introduced some of the collaboration brushes and products for Crown Brush.
Then she showed some of her skills with a volunteer. I don't think the volunteer needed anything. She's young and pretty as she is.
