Manicure Monday: Essie in Tuft Act To Follow, Opulent Collection 2021

I visited a nail beauty store in Chinatown in December 10, 2021 and purchased some essie polishes.
I ended up purchasing four Essie gel couture. I already reviewed Essie in High-End Note (second from left), and Essie in Sandy Soles (third from the left). For this post, I will review the first from the left.
This is Essie in Tuft Act To Follow. I am not too sure why it's not listed on their website. Since I did a thorough review of Essie Gel Couture in Turn 'N' Pose, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color. It is brighter on the nails than from the bottle.
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to OPI, the width is wider and the length is slightly shorter. I would say the width is on the wide side.
I applied Essie Strong Start Base Coat, two coats of Essie in Tuft Act To Follow, and topped all the nails with Orly In A Snap Quick-Dry Topcoat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the brush is wide enough to do three strokes and move onto the next nail. Not only that, the curve tip helps paint around the cuticles and sides. Secondly, the packaging is nice. It looks futuristic and attention grabbing. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of thick glass. The top is also sturdy. I can feel a tight seal when I open and close. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. It's easy to throw in your purse, bag, and even your pocket. It's also easy to hold with one hand. Third, the consistency is creamy and medium. It's not too thick that it's hard to work with. It's also not too thin that it runs while using. It's a good consistency and you can take your time with painting. It will not get clumpy with usage. With that said, it's easy to use. It goes on smoothly, and there are no streaking and bubbles. Fourth, it's a pretty reddish-orange. It's great for spring and summer season. Pigmentation-wise it's up there. Two coats were good enough for my skin tone. Lastly, I did see shrinkage and chipping on the sides of the tips on the fourth day. The shrinkage is slight but it is noticeable towards the fifth day. The chipping on the sides on the tips are noticeable as well. I am glad I got this product. It's a pretty color and I realized I like Expressie more so than Gel Couture. I wouldn't have known that without using these polishes. With that said, I still think this is a good polish.

Would repurchase: Yes.
